Released In: 1994 Based on Bruce Timm's Emmy-winning Batman: The Animated Series, The Adventures of Batman & Robin is a kickass sidescrolling beat 'em that pits Batman and Robin against classic enemies from the show including Clayface, Poison Ivy, The Riddler, The Penguin, Man-Bat, and of course, The Joker. Syd Lexia: This game is awesome, but fighting Poison Ivy's giant green vagina dentata was a little disconcerting. Valdronious: The Caped Crusader makes his second appearance on this list with The Adventures of Batman & Robin. The game is well-made, though it showed me how stupid I can be - it took me a few lives to figure how to use the wall jump and grappling hook properly. Most importantly, this game teaches a valuable life lesson: don't ever punch or kick a woman or her flower. Throwing projectiles in order to stun them is perfectly acceptable, but you must never engage them in unarmed combat. That would be wrong. |
