Super Bomberman 2
#54: Super Bomberman 2

Released In: 1994
Developer: Hudson Soft
Publisher: Hudson Soft

The second of six Super Bomberman games released for the Super Nintendo, and the last one to get released in America. In this game, Bomberman has been kidnapped by the Five Bad Bombers, a group of evil cyborgs with plans of world domination. Bomberman awakes in a dungeon on the spaceship and must fight his way through the labyrinthine vessel and defeat Magnet Bomber, Golem Bomber, Pretty Bomber, Brain Bomber, and Plasma Bomber. There's also a great multiplayer mode that supports 2-4 players. Sadly, it lacks a co-op story mode.

Syd Lexia: Bomberman will always rule. Single player mode, multiplayer mode, any game, any console, it doesn't matter; it's good clean fun, and it's highly addictive. Well, unless you count Bomberman: Act Zero. Let's not.

Valdronius: I don't understand why the early Bomberman games had a single player quest mode. No one ever played them. I guess it was just so you could say that you've beaten it, rather than just being able to say you played it for five hours straight with three friends and had the best time of your life.
