I was refreshing a livejournal picture generator at like 4AM hoping to find lewd pictures of underage girls, then this picture showed up, and I had to explore this 'SydLexia.com' further.

I found it while reading about Robot Masters on Wikipedia. There was a link to Syd's article, so I read it and then read everything else. I sat there waiting for him to update once I had read everything, but then I started reading the forums. Eventually, I stopped lurking and registered, and, well, here I am!

I was searching for Smash TV, the ended up here. This was back in November '05.
I forgot it a few days later. Fate took me back to it.
One of the first things I also did was e-mail Syd about a petition for a "Classic Nikelodeon Channel" I wonder where that went.
In January, I finally gained the balls to join.

It was the "Are You Afraid of the Dark" article, which I read shortly after buying a bootleg of the series. And I never left... That was nearly two years ago...

I stumbled upon the site sometime in late August of last year, while searching for information about the Japanese Super Mario Bros. 2. I found Syd's article to be equal parts hilarious and informative.
I've been reading stuff here ever since.

I think I'm one of the only ones who found it because I've been friends with Syd since 2nd grade and he said "hey, read my site."
I think I was one of the first 3 on the forums too, but I'm not sure of that.
