I love it because I couldn't tell if the snake was supposed to be fake and he was just making himself look like a hero, or if he was actually battling a so-called 'garter snake' (which looks more like an anaconda). And the standard result would be for her to be all 'oh, how could I ever repay you??' but instead he just whips off his pants and assumes.
