This is too funny! I can't believe they didn't censor the man's address.

I like how the first comment is a guy who paints it as a conspiracy and half the comments that follow tell him how he's wrong.

Just let priests get married and fuck already.

Confiscated it from one of the people he's been lobbying against since Illinois has started trying to pass gay rights laws and thought "Hey, maybe this will be fun."
Seriously though, it's like karma in the greatest possible way.

From your lips to God's ears, man. That's on my list of pipe dreams for my Catholic church, along with the unlikely reunification with the Eastern Orthodox churches. The same pope, Leo IX, is probably responsible for both, tragically. And the guy ended up beatified. Ugh.

Yeah, if priests could marry, I'd consider becoming a priest. I bet I could get so much 'tang if I was a priest.

He represents everyone in the church and the church as a whole? Grow up. By that same logic, you and everyone like you is a sick rotten bastard because Hitler was born in Austria.

And Hitler had many lieutenants who carried out his orders and advised him; furthermore, he was elected by the people of Germany, and many in Austria welcomed the Anschluss. So let's castigate those two entire countries forever for that.
Or instead, how about you don't insult my entire religion based upon the evil actions of a few of its fallible human members? Eh buddy?

Fun fact. There are nearly no N.azis in Austria anymore. Really. I have like seen 2 in my entire life walking around in the city and i life here for 24 years. In america on the other hand are 1000's of them, much much more than we have. So if you bring up old storys better look what is happening right now.
And i apologize for bashing on the church. I actually like and respect most religions. But some of the people that practice those religions just seem to get it all wrong. I think we can agree on that.

Critics of Austria's far right, Freedom Party, would disagree with that statement. Some factions, including international groups, view them as successors to the Nazi party in Austria, similar to the National Alliance in Italy and its linkage to Italian Fascism. I remember watching the news report about them becoming part of the coalition government at the turn of the century when I was in college, and seeing the international outrage as a result.

That is true, the FPÖ sucks balls. But they are not such big deal anymore than they were a couple of years ago. Still i was shocked how many votes they did get.
