No, but that is a really good idea.
I always named my Metapod/Kakauna Penis. "Penis used Harden!"
And every Smeargle should be named Rapist.

I always named my pokemon after Presidents. My Venesaur was Teddy Roosevelt because it was nature-y and badass

If I had a Typhlosion I would name it Cumsplosion just for the supremely obscure reference.

I remember giving uncreative names to my Pokemon, though. For example, when I had "Blue," I named my Squirtle "Mr. Cool."
Without knowing the meaning of the word back then, I named my rival in "Silver" on the Game Boy "Wigger."

I never rename any pokemon. I think it's lame.
I've named the rival some pretty disparaging things though.

I always felt that Bulbasaur was the weakest of the 3 starters. It certainly had good moves, but most plant Pokemon all had generic grass moves. Charmander is probably the worst starter, but overall the best later on in the game.
And while I never named my Pokemon, I did name the Pokemon that I would catch to trade to other people, such as "Pedophile" and "Assfuck", which they would be pretty upset once they received them.
Also, since I had the Blue version, one of the names you could choose for your rival was Ash, so I did change it to Ass one time...eh. Whenever I play it now, I just call him Rival. On Gold and Silver, I leave it as ???.

I always name my rival Hitler, in accordance with my firm belief that Hitler should be the final boss of every game.

Bulbasaur is the worst in terms of typing (Grass/Poison leaves it weak to Fire, Ice, Flying, and Psychic) some of the most prevalent types for useful moves.
I never named it something crude, though I did name my first Murkrow "Jim."

I did have a pair of pokemon I named Beavis and Butthead. But those are long gone.

The one time I did play Pokemon it was a yellow cartridge and I vaguely remember naming whatever I could swear words, kind of like naming the high scores of arcade games FUK ASS TIT COK etc.

I give them their original japanese name. Sometimes their french or korean names if the japanese name is the same as the german (Nidoran for example has the same name on every language except on korean).
The english are common to me (i used to collect the english trading cards) thats why i stick with the japanes/french/korean.
Its not that i memorized all the names, i look them up at the poke wikia...
I named the main character MASTER and the rival LOSER. Very creative, i know...

Seriously though I never nickname my pokemon because then I can't remember which one is which. I have more fun naming my rival something inappropriate and in the newer games setting stuff like the Join Avenue sayings to incredibly rude things that get shouted out as you run down the avenue.

I always nicknamed my Nidoqueen Bianca, because there's a Chuck Berry song called "Little Queeny," the Rolling Stones used to cover it, and Bianca is the first name of Mick Jagger's wife.

yeah being creative and thinking of funny and cool things is lame, it's much more fun autistically adhering to pre-made naming schemes and rules.

Usa is always playing by the rules. He doesn't know how to be a rebel like we who rename our Pokemon.
