There's been some word that NBC will expand "The Office" to an hour long format. This season has seen a plethora of "super sized" episodes to test out the longer format, we've also seen more dramatic material than last season. Is it possible next season will be the switch to hour long dramedy?

I've been calling for this since "The Merger", the first of this season's longer episodes. Additionally there was "The Return", "A Benihana Christmas", last season's "Casino Night", and last week's "Women's Appreciation". Tonight's episode will also be another extended episode with a longer finale to follow next week! Seems to me the show is surviving the longer running time. With two CEOs of NBC (retracted) NBC's CEO and Entertainment President saying their considering it, I think it's a safe bet it will happen.

Have can one company have two CEOs? By definition of the title, (A Chief Executive Officer (CEO), or Chief Executive, is the highest-ranking corporate officer, administrator, corporate administrator, executive, or executive officer, in charge of total management of a corporation, company, organization or agency.) there can only be one. I wonder if the other is a chief operating officer (COO)?

Good catch, Reilly is actually NBC's Entertainment President. However, remind me to link to an unrelated article next time and pass it off as a source. I have a feeling no one actually checks those things.

Oh, that's in general.

Edit: And now I'm able to sneak in one more Office reference into my post! Score! Razz

The new reference is from "Conflict Resolution". You might have to go back to go forward.
