So according to this and this, May 21st is Judgment Day, and on October 21st the world will end.
They even had a billboard campaign in various cities across the country:
I really only know about it because of the billboard signs.
Who has a lot of repenting to do?

Why do you think he's coming back?

Exactly.
Also, I found it funny that when I clicked on that second link, there was an ad for Kick-Ass right before the story about how all the sinners are going to be left behind in the Rapture.

The same guy who 'predicted' this also did the same thing in 1994, from what I understand. I'm still going out and pounding a couple of brews to celebrate, but honestly, the worst that'll happen is that some people I know will disappear. Not even a large amount. Maybe like one or two of them.

One of those billboards is along a major throughway near by. If I didn't have anything better to do that Saturday, I'd camp out in the parking lot and knock on the door after the day ended asking what went wrong.

Yeah there's a big billboard near my house in Boston. The radio station who is claiming this apparently is asking for donations. So does that mean they have to give a refund if Judgment Day isn't upon us after all?

I think it's kinda' funny (in a sad, pathetic way) that people still try this even though it says in the Bible that [I'm paraphrasing here] everyone will be surprised on that day and that if someone goes to the trouble of convincing people that it's going to happen on "this day in particular" it absolutely WILL NOT BE on that day. And yet, enough people (who apparently haven't read the Bible...but, hey, it's not like thats a major part of the religion or anything) will still believe it when someone pulls a date out of their ass.
Also, if Judgment Day is in May and the world ends in October, what happened to the millennial reign of Christ? They're missing about a thousand years.

I posted something similar to this on fb about how all of this is totally not following the Bible...

The thing about predicting the end of the world?
If you're wrong, nobody remembers.
If you're right, nobody is around to care.

According to the Bible, Doomsday and the Antichrist sort of follow the Heisenburg Uncertainty Principle, i.e. anyone who thinks they know when it will come/who it is, winds up wrong.

Matthew 24:35-36: "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words shall not pass away. But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone."
Numerology needs to die already. People have been trying to guess at the exact date of the Rapture for centuries, yet none of them ever take into account differing calendars and the fact that the whole "time, times, and half a time" thing was intentionally vague. For some reason, people think those represent years, but they forget that a year in those times is completely different than a year in the present day. As a result, their guesses are completely arbitrary, and I would doubt that something as mysterious as the Rapture wouldn't so conveniently fall into a time where this guy's followers would all be awake. God knows better than that and in all likelihood doesn't care about our dating system.

The world is not going to end on May 21st. God is supposed to be a loving and compassionate God. There's no way he'd end the world before Skyward Sword comes out.

Eh we'll see, watch it be on the 20th just to screw everyone trying to get one last day of sinning in before they repent.
