I just gave an example of my own dad's business. Okay, so he wanted an example of a fast food
franchise doing it, but I was generally stating that there's plenty of ways to make restaurant beef cheaper with filler and I wouldn't be surprised if other businesses did the same thing. I was mostly trying to refute his "Beef is cheaper than any filler they could reasonably use" statement.
I concede that I don't have actual evidence of a fast-food company using filler, but I still believe it's highly unlikely that a 99 cent taco can consist of grade A meat.
