By last star, are you referring to the 120th? or the final "Green Star"?
I thoroughly enjoyed the game and I am glad that Nintendo released it.

I am referring to the 242th star. And I am certainly happy that Nintendo released it as well I'm actually hoping they will give us a Galaxy 3 in the not to distant future as it seems to me that they have finally nailed the 3d-Mario design. Of course, nothing would make me as happy as a new Mario World though.

What? So all those amazing, well designed levels from 1-120 weren't interesting?

I guess I should have rephrased that as "a common complaint against the game is that...it's the exact same game as SMG 1. That criticism does hold water...until the green star challenges."

It is hard to put a number on it, but I feel like SMG 2 is about 20-30% harder than SMG 1.
There is a lot more precision required to beat most levels.

So I just started playing SMG2 this week. I am very irritated by the speed run in world 1 with the dash peppers. It is very unintuitive to go from a left/right turning system on the ramps to an up/down/left/right movement system on the vertical walls. Whoever programmed it is an idiot.

I agree Vald. What shall we do about this? Someone needs to be bitchslapped for allowing it to be so.

Yeah, that level was bullshit, like a lot of the comet challenges.
And I agree that the green stars actually was the best and most unique part of the game. They were very fun to collect, and also quite relaxing compared to the hard-as-hell comet challenges like those with the f*cking monkey, and those with the f*cking bird.
