FAIL: Went to the girlfriend's parent's rented cabin on the lake for Christmas Eve Dinner, and the chicken and potatoes everyone was going to eat got contaminated with dish soap. Turns out that the asshats that rent the cabin decided to be fancy with their dish soap and put it in a olive oil bottle next to the stove. 
WIN: We got to eat Pizza instead!

Win: I have about 500 bucks to spend on myself. I also got a modded 360 to replace my RROD 360. Only thing that sucks is it is banned from live, so I may also buy a new one for live and Netflix.
Fail: Because of the weather, it took about 5 hours to make a 2 1/2 hour trip and got stuck about 1/8 of a mile from my parents house.
Fail: My cousin's ipod touch was missing only a few hours after she got it. Nobody can find it. Says it was in her purse. Hopefully it turns up. I would be pissed to find out somebody in our family is a thief.

WIN: Got And Yet It Moves and a new USB MP3 player from my wife and a big electric shaving kit.
FAIL: There's no more money left from my check. Like, at all. Wife's mom and grandma are coming down Tuesday to help us move into new condo, and Grandma's supposed to give us a hundred bucks or something like that. Also, dishwasher is totally fucked so I have to handwash all the dirty dishes I've been letting pile up before the move.

win: I got a nice homemade Deadpool Scarf from my semi-secret santa.
Win: I got a book I picked out for myself. It's half memoir, half commentary about fantasy gaming and pen and paper rpgs.
Fail: Just about every other gift. The one year I actually asked for things because I've been unemployed since May and spent all my money on Christmas. And this is the only year that I didn't get ANY gift cards. Not. A. One. I got clothes. Hideous clothes. Uber-trendy black jeans with that weird little faux-fade on them, a hideous coat thing. Black socks and a long sleeve polo.
Oh well. Everyone liked the gifts I gave them so that's good.
Too bad I just don't have any money/gift cards to go buy the games I've been lusting after.
Or all the comics I am behind on.

The fail continues: From my mother and her boyfriend I got a sweater that would apparently "look nice" on me, jeans that they bought too big because apparently they think I'm a fat ass and blue jeans at that which I'm never going to wear because I don't wear blue jeans. To add to the comment that I have poor fashion sense, they also gave me toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo and shaving cream. Because, you know, I'm a filthy bastard and all.
I bought Borderlands for myself so I would get at least one good gift, but I can't even play it because my room mate and her sister are playing Rock Band. Which I'm sure they'll be doing until 11 when my other room mate gets home and then he'll want to play Modern Warfare 2 all night.
