Every time I hear her talk, I want to punch her. Hard. She's so goddam stupid and annoying.

She's put on some weight too. I guess having like 5 shows on food network will do that to you.

Laughing

She's also has her picture on every food product ever. Must be some new law.

In the words of Toki Wartooth:

"I hate that bitch Rachel Ray. Can you make, like, her tits fall off or something?"
I hate her, too. Evil

(I know that wasn't an exact quote)

I buy the generic "Good Value" snack crackers just so I don't have to see her on the back of the box like every freaking nabisco product has.

And because they're cheaper.

I'll do ya one better, I've never seen her cook. The two different shows that I saw her in involve eating other people's food, so the fact that she's a chef is purely implied. When I have seen her, she has a nagging tendancy to act childish.

But, to be fair, should someone who cooks for a living be expected to be rail thin? I say not.

Depends on what you cook. If you have a show about cooking healthy meals, you should look healthy. However, if you have a show called "Deep-Fried Greasy Shit on a Stick", you can look however fat you want.

I'm not saying she should be rail thin, I'm just saying she's been getting larger, probably from having all these shows.

Your right. So what exactly does she cook?

(quick trip to wiki)

Apparently american food. She's not really a chef, no formal education. Add that to the dubious claims of her 30 minute cookbooks and her signature "teehee i cook scrummy wummy food" to get a whats basically a glorified housewife. For female chefs I'll take cat cora. For male I'll take mario battalli. Not that I watch chefs very much.

Rachel was cute once... But shortly thereafter she did get horribly annoying.

The day I hated her: She just got a talk show (the first one) and Morgan Freeman was on it, but she was too drunk on wine to say anything interesting. As a result, Freeman looked bored, bored, bored. It was a sad, sad, sad sight to behold... behold, behold.

If you get Food Network, check out "Semi-Homemade with Sandra Lee" now THAT is a glorified housewife, I mean the woman dressed up as a princess for her Halloween episode!

I saw her "Making Shit with Thanksgiving Leftovers" episode. Every dish she made was some sort of mutant casserole that looked like it would taste like roadkill.

I've no desire to have sex with chefs. I'm just saying that I prefer Cora over Ray because Cora can make something more than a bolonga sandwich, and she can make this better meal without giggling like an imbecile.

I'm still unclear on how the 40$ a Day provides any entertainment value. If using that amount a day is somehow to be interpreted as impressive, then let's see her live on 40$ a month. That's a show I'd watch.
