Why would a shirt that says "pop culture 4 life" have a picture of NOT pop culture on it? It would seem odd to use that as a t-shirt (and thusly advertisement) as it's not a very accurate portrayal of what the site's about.
Think as an outsider, someone who has not been to this site: the shirt says "pop culture 4 life" and has a picture of someone that you've never seen before in your life ever. The line is fine, but the images need to be something that would be evocative of feelings of nostalgia. |
I was just having fun.
I learned how to do the Obamafy look with Photoshop gradient maps and felt like applying it to something.
Then I took it a step further and changed it to Syd's colors.
The slogan "Pop Culture 4 Life" was a combination of two things.
1) The site's dedication to pop culture
2) Your brother wrote PHPBB 4 Life in a thread at one point. I found it amusing.
But for the sake of argument, what is to say that we can't create a new pop culture icon out of Syd's face?
