Mass Effect 2 isn't an FPS. It's primarily controlled like most third person RPG type games like KOTOR, so yeah it feels sluggish just like that did.

I should be highly amused at all the people being farty over the last few Nintendo stories. Instead, it's just pissing me off. I think I just need a break from everything ever.
I'm not a bad enough dude, but I am an edgy little shit. I'll do what I can.

Currently binging on Resident Evil series. Status currently halted at completion of Handgun D path in Survivor, due to well-intentioned reset of Gaiden meant to undo one action that erased all save data. Now taking time off gaming until Saturday, at which point will restart Gaiden, possibly for last time, due to Revelations 2's proving or disproving of canon.

I wouldn't let its status as canon hold you back from playing it, especially considering how underrated of a game Gaiden is. That and the fact that the Outbreak games aren't necessarily canon (though I suppose there isn't anything saying they aren't), but I still avidly enjoy them.

I really want a Multi-tap for my SNES, but I don't want to pay $40 for one.

I just realized: between Metal Gear Solid, Silent Hill, and Castlevania, Konami has driven off the creators & developers of pretty much all their major franchises. What do they even have left?

Bemani, their several mobile games, miscellaneous arcade dealings. Just because you can't see it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

You've got me there, but just because it exists doesn't mean it's worth acknowledging.

I don't know about that, usually everything has at least one redeeming factor to it that's worth talking about. I think it's valuable sometimes to pick through bad shit just to find the one or two things it does right, and focus on how it got that part down while fucking everything else up.
But then again...
Also, lately I've realized that any sort of game where you fight against real people manages to piss me off in record time. I'm more or less fine with single player stuff but then as soon as other people get involved I'm practically frothing with rage within ten minutes. Looks like I gotta avoid online shit at this rate.

I stopped playing Street Fighter because it just causes my body temperature to rise. I have to shower after playing it for too long.

Doing casino games and mobile apps make them more money and are cheaper to develop. Just makes sense financially, even if we don't agree.

The sheer amount of Tank-Battles you have to go through in Arkham Knight.
You fight like 300 tanks through out the game.
That are more tanks than my whole country owns.
Should have called the game Non-strategical Tank Battle Simulator: Batman Edition. Duh.

I'm really tired of video game fanboys. Nintendo fans kept bragging that Dead Cells sold the most console copies on Nintendo Switch. PC gamers corrected them, saying that the PC version actually sold the most overall. The PC version sold 600,000 copies, and Nintendo Switch version sold 100,000. Nintendo fans started whining that PC got the game first a year ago and how it wasn't fair. So much for Switch being the best, huh?

The final boss in DK:Tropical Freeze.
One hit kill lava pits, multiple phases without any fixed pattern and 12 (!),very hard to get hits, to take him down.

I did beat him after about 10 tries.
It's not that he is that hard even, the sheer length of the fight is just wearing down on your patience.
Losing in the last phase means you wasted 5 minutes, wich is a lot for a boss in a jump and run.
You could take down every single boss in DKC in that time.

Personally, I hate games that force you to be an ubergamer to get all of the content. Don't get me wrong, I agree there should be a reward for beating a game on highest difficulty, but not all of us are good at every kind of game. And not all of us have the time, patience and dedication to master it on the highest difficulty. I don't feel like I should be cheated out of the "real" ending just because I can't do that. I mean, a special weapon/armor/whatever for winning on the highest difficulty is fine, but don't screw me out of the story because I don't have the time or inclination to play superhardcore mode anymore.
I think the same! It is really true! I got into such situations several times. very furious!!

It makes me sad to see how far GameCube games have risen in price. I should have bought a lot more when they were still really cheap. Oh well, I have a decent collection right now, several other systems to enjoy, and I don't play games as much as I used to, so I'm not really going to suffer if I have to buy just one or two games at a time.
Also, just checked out the remastered versions of Luca and Besaid Island. While some individual elements/sounds are neat, these sound rather messy to me. Bummer! Then again, nostalgiasound is definitely a force to be reckoned with.
