If you want a rape thread do a search or start a new one. Back on track...
slapolakinkaido's posted song sounded familiar so I looked it up. I only watched Heavy Metal again the other day too. 8/10 for the nostalgia but normally I'd give it a 4/10. It reminded me of Queen too much and I'd rather listen to Queen.
As a matter of fact...
Just try to rape this song. It will rape you back. In the arse. And you'll get Mercury poisoning.

9/10. Fun tune but I liked it better as a sampled intro for Public Enemy's "Terminator X To The Edge of Panic"
There are a lot of what if's in life Donny. What if I hit you really hard in the face, knocked yo shit to the back of yo skull? What if I....had you girl gargle my nuts? The fact remains, you are a fuckin mutant.

I would give it a 8/10. The guitar reminded me a bit of Danzig, and safe for a slight distaste of men doing falsetto that aren't Freddy Mercury, it was pretty damn good. I will check out more from them. For the next one, I tried to pick one of their shorter ones. Hard to do when it goes from a minute thirty to nine in terms of length, more towards the latter.

6/10 Not bad for what it was. Maybe just a little slow and mellow for my taste.
I'm not even really trying on this one. But fuck it, it should get a high rating for the nostalgia.

5/10 I was never a big fan of Sunsoft's game music, but it's alright mostly.
Here is Christopher Lee singing a song about alcohol and white supremacy. It starts around the 1 minute mark.

4/10 Christopher Lee has a good singing voice, but I thought the song and video was silly otherwise.

The fast parts are very catchy and cool sounding but as a whole it's nothing too special 5/10

6/10. Better than a lot of games I've heard, but not really epic or anything. Here's another one, completely different and much faster than my last submission. Also, the video freaks me the fuck out.

7/10. I like it. It's got kind of a David Byrne-ish feel to it.

6.2/10 The instrumentals are good, but I'm not big on the vocals.

5.5/10 Nice little tune. Only works for me if I'm in the mood for something slower though.

6/10
I don't really like that kind of music normally, but if I'm in a certain mood I do. It sounds like it'd do well at a rave, which I would never attend.
Overall, pretty good, just not in my taste.

5/10. Average.
The music was pretty, and I think I could have enjoyed it more if I was relaxed, but the lyrics were still a bit melodramatic and silly.
This is a band I've been digging lately. Their sounds tend to sound like varying mixes of Dillinger Four and Modern English. This song is about 50/50 in that regard:
So here's to you Mrs. Robinson. People love you more- oh, nevermind.

I'll rate the song Damn Good/10. I can definitely see why you make the comparison to Dillinger Four. The singer sort of remind me of the Bouncing Souls.

7/10, it was okay, it sounds a bit bland to me but if it was on i wouldn't turn it over or anything.

6/10. A little too droll for my liking. The jazzy smoky voice seems to be overdone far too much these days, but it wasn't awful.

6/10 Not really my thing but not bad for what it is. Sounds like it fits somewhere between 'love scene' and 'montage scene' from an eighties movie.

2/5. I scrolled away from the video playing because it was too weird and would detract from my listening experience. Very hazy sound to the music reminding one of Summer days. Slightly trance inducing since it doesn't change much in the song. Something that could be played on a lazy day amongst friends but wouldn't garner much curiousity to find out what it was when it is over.

2/10. I would never listen to that if i wanted to listen to music. If i was at a club it may be acceptable but even by club standards i don't think it's very good.

4/10 Sometimes I like music in that genre but that track seemed a little repetitive and didn't really seem to go anywhere.
EDIT: Sorry I was responding to vert's post.
As for Allowish's post 5.5/10. Not a bad metal sound, but seemed like it was missing something to really liven it up.
