Napalm Man: his stage looks eerily like Vietnam with its jungle setting. That's severely messed up. For Megaman 10, how about Fat Man; his stage can look like Nagasaki.

This should probably fall under "Things that piss you off...(Video Game Edition)". I'll give it a little while before I lock this bad boy up and throw away the key though, just in case.

Yikes! In that case, I could turn it into an underrated Megaman level thread. We always hear about Megaman bosses, but the level is what really counts. So, speaking of Megaman 5, I though Gravity Man's level was pretty awesome walking on the ceiling. Also, I've always liked Heat Man's disappearing blocks...or maybe just the sound they make...

Those blocks are both indicative of a creative as hell mind being involved in level design, and as annoying as all hell. Smile

Shadowman's level had too much lava. I figured japanese themed or maybe forest at night or something.

Topman's level was gay, and had evil giant cats for some reason.

In fact, Megaman 3 in general started to fall apart, in both boss/level association and boss weakness logic.

BTW, I don't ever remember boss weaknesses, so whenever I start a megaman game I never know if the ice boss is going to be weak to the fire boss, or have the one weapon strong against the fire boss.

It's not lava. It's sewage.

I think in Mega Man 3, they were trying to give us new level designs, rather than retreading the same old stuff. Hence the weird levels. I still think it's the best of the first 8 games, possibly the best overall. I'm not sure how I feel about MM9.
