I pronounce Seth as "Cock Sucking Cheating Asshole".

On a related pronunciation note, I have a friend who pronounces Zangief 'zag NEEF' and it has irritated me for about 18 years now.

Guile is an actual word (at least in the English language), but it's absolutely not a name. That's like naming someone "Bravado" or "Nerve".

I usually pronounce it "Guyl". Wich sounds exactly like the german word "Geil" wich means horny. An unfortunate coincidence.

I know someone who pronounces Guile 'gill E'. Same jerk who mispronounces Zangief's name.

Guile is probably my best character in the Street Fighter games. Since the game doesn't care how or why you're holding Back to charge for moves you can constantly be aggressive. Plus he had that haircut that was the be-all-and-end-all of haircuts.
It's been a while since I consistently played fighting games, so I'm going to list only the ones I remember. I used to play King of Fighters a lot in high school, but I totally forget the characters names, just a few nicknames we had for some of them.
Mortal Kombat 1: Sub Zero
Mortal Kombat 2: Baraka
Mortal Kombat 3: Cyrax
Mortal Kombat Trilogy: Rain
Super Smash Bros. (N64): Samus
I wasn't much into Street Fighter, but I typically chose Ken, I believe.

Holy crap, I haven't posted here in a while.
I had to chime in on this one, though. And, yeah, you're going to laugh.
Mortal Kombat 9: Stryker
Yeah, I know. But I've been playing almost exclusively as the mall cop for two years now and he's a lot of fun. It's easy when you start to just get caught up in gun spam, but that's unrewarding in the long haul. He actually covers the screen pretty well (and not just from a distance). And it's great fun to get ragequit on because "you beat me with Stryker?!?!111".
Additionally, since I'm a big Green Lantern fan (no, not the movie...), I can't wait to play as Hal and Sinestro in "Injustice". And Aquaman will probably be my third.

I'm eyeing Joker and Solomon Grundy as my mains for Injustice.
I'm thinking I may be a fan of Deathstroke again, like I did in Mortal Kombat vs DC but also think I'll like Cyborg and Shazam from Injustice

Welp, that forced me to go find his old webpage.
Edit: Syd, if you actually registered it, you should totally see what madness lies in wait at the_strykemeister@yahoo.com.

Zangieff. I have mastered his moves on every Street Fighter game and I am an absolute beast with him. Growing up, everyone thought he was the worst. So I mastered him and when I chose him against people they laughed until I 360 piledrived their ass in mid-air. Now I rest on my laurels. Plus I've been drinking vodka, of the Taaka brand.

I have been experimenting with Hulk(Gamma Wave)/Chunners(lightning legs)/Wesker(samurai edge) in UMVC3, as well as Hawkeye(triple shot)/Doom(PLAZMA BEEM!)/Strider(Vajra), but I dunno.
Also in MVC2 my new main team is three Ruby Hearts, All AA Assist. Nothing can stand unbroken beneath it.
In Playstation Allstars I've been using Radec and Fat Princess, and although I don't own injustice and have limited experience with it, I've been digging Harley Quinn.
I dropped Kanji in Persona for Aegis.

Adding an addendum to my list due to more fighting games coming out, practicing more with the games I already own, and having played more fighting games:
Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike(now that I actually own the game):
Elena, Yang, Dudley, Hugo
Street Fighter Alpha 3
Sakura, Karin, Rose, Chun-Li
