Was Bill (David Carradine) the father of Uma Thurman's baby? Or was it the guy she was going to marry in Texas?

The little girl calls Bill "daddy" toward the end of Volume 2, but I was never clear if he was actually her father, or if she just called him that because he essentially adopted her.

I'm pretty sure she found out she was pregnant before she met the guy in Texas. The baby was Bill's. I was pretty sure she even tells him that before he shoots her in the church.

I still don't understand why she kills Bill. I mean, she was a total bitch to him in the first place. And when she finally tracks him down, he's a pretty nice guy. They chat, and then she kills him.

Well, seriously. He was in love with her, she find out she's pregnant, and she disappears, leaving him to think she's dead. He's heartbroken, then he finds out she's not dead, and his heartbreak turns to rage. That is completely reasonable.

I'd say it is perfectly acceptable. If someone I loved faked their own death, then by the time I tracked them down, they were pregnant and marrying someone else, I'd shoot them. No question. It's what they fucking deserve. I have absolutely NO sympathy for Beatrix at all.

He even sent an assassin after her when he found out she was alive, but called it off. He'd rather be a pussy about it and let her suffer instead. So, even if you somehow think his actions are justified in killing her and everyone close to her, for survival's sake she had to kill him because he was going to just keep trying to kill her.

If a man is justified in killing a woman for leaving him, then a woman is justified in killing a dude who did all these things.

If you're going to be contrarian you have to at least make a /little/ sense.

You know what always bothered my about those movies? The "kill everyone who wronged me" part was a total copout since she spares one of them (that French girl whose name I forget) and Michael Madsen's character was killed by someone else.

Oh fuck it, it's like people don't even pay attention when watching movies. Watch it again and see if "that French girl" is shooting up the church at the beginning.

I don't have a problem with the motivations of the characters or the logic of them, I just think the movie is utter shite.

Technically, I thought she said "Bill, it's your ba..." And the gun goes off as she is about to say the last syllable of baby.
Bill probably assumed it wasn't his, then maybe thought it could be, knew Beatrice was about to confirm it, and pulled the trigger before she could finish confirming it.

Syd... read the title of the movie. What the fuck did you think was going to happen? It doesn't matter how nice he is now... he was going to be killed.
