How are Totino's Party Pizzas not on this list? |
This is the first thing I thought of.
There are 6 of these in my freezer right now, and I will be having one when I get home.

The Food Forum is a great idea. Finally, a place where we could discuss this:

Neither of the grocery stores I go to carry them, so they're not good enough for my list. Besides, they look disgusting.

Your face looks disgusting! Totinos pizzas are great, and their pizza rolls are even better!

Shut up. You're just jealous of my manly beard and winning smile.
If the pizzas are anything like the rolls, I don't want 'em. Those rolls are pretty meh.

The rolls are good, the pizzas suck. Never had a Totinos pizza that tasted good at all, I'd still eat them because I was hungry and there was fuck-all to eat in the house, but I sure didn't enjoy it. They always seem to come out of the oven all soggy somehow, like the crust is incapable of becoming crispy. I'll stick with making my own pizzas or Tombstone/Jacks/Wal-Mart brand rather than Totinos. Give me some pizza rolls though and I'll have the whole bag gone in a sitting.

There are tiers of pizza:
First, the crappy, "bleh, frozen pizza, here you go" brands:
Totino's
Jack's
Tombstone
Red Baron*
Tony's
Then, there's the "these are good pizza brands" brands:
Red Baron*
DiGiorno
Freschetta
Then there are brands that are over the top:
California Pizza Kitchen
Those vegetarian pizzas.
Both DiGiorno and Freschetta are experimenting with some crazy things - like DiGiorno Pizza and Cookies. Don't know if I'm a big fan of that. Just give me pizza.
Best type of pizza: DiGiorno's "Spicy Chicken Supreme".
*I asterisked Red Baron because their basic pizza is not up to top quality, though if you get the personal pan pizzas or their specialty pizzas, those are good.

So much this.
I had one today and it turned out great.
I put a little bit of seasoning on them and some Texas Pete and munch down.

Yeah, are you cooking them in an oven? Because microwaving that shit is asking for trouble.

I have too recently discovered California Pizza Kitchen. I forget which one I had first, but it to me has proven that frozen pizza isn't all the same to me.

Insert dumb quote here. Go ahead, I know you're gonna do it. |

California Pizza Kitchen is pretty cool, but like Bum said, Wal-Mart brand definitely holds its own. It tops out DiGiorno on my list easily. Totino's I haven't had since I was a kid but it's always tasted greasy to me, not bad, but greasy. Never had Freschetta's or Jack's, Tombstone and Red Baron are meh.

I like DiGiorno's, Red Baron, Freschetta and Tombstone equally, but yeah... DiGiorno's, especially with the Pizza & Breadsticks/Boneless Wings/whatever combos, is the supreme king.
Search deep in your hearts, you know it to be true.

I haven't had a Tombstone in like 3 years. Do the pepperonis on those things still roll up and kinda make a cup shape? I always loved that. The flavor of the pizza never impressed me but they always turned out perfectly crispy.

Tombstone sucks, Jack's sucks, Totino's sucks. But I'd eat all three if it was the only pizza left. #simplelogic
