3 Day challenge is hard, you can basically forget trying to get the gilded sword and such, by the time you get to Zora's Domain, it's usually the third day...at least the two times I tried the challenge.

Because of the Gerudo Fortress probably?

Also, some guy did the 1 Day challenge using owl statues saves (copy to the other file to avoid losing your data), a bunch of glitches and sequence breaking.

Yeah, I don't like exploiting glitches because it usually does more damage than good.

Agreed. I also never understood the using of guides on the first play through. If you bought a game and plan on owning it for a while, why not beat it on your own and then cheat to get all the extras? It's like anti-gaming when people jump right to the guide the first time they boot up a game.

I only turn to guides when I'm really really stuck. Like the first time I played through Silent Hill way back in the day, I didn't know what the fuck to do once I was in the School, it was far too cryptic for 13 year old me to decipher.

Time travel would be nice to have back, we haven't seen time travel in a zelda game since the Oracle games.

As cool as it would be to have a "sequel" to Majora's Mask, I'd like to see them branch out a little bit more.

I would be up for this. Majora's Mask is one of the most well designed games ever.

This comment warms my heart.

As much as I love Majora's Mask, I'm undecided whether or not I want a "sequel" to it. I think it's much better off as stand alone game.

My advice to Nintendo would be to integrate the Bomber's Notebook much, much, more since the Bomber's Notebook and repairing people's lives kinda was the game.

I could never do the lovers quest and in the end I gave up after I completed the Gorgon Domain.

Fixed.

Also, the lovers quest is only possible towards the end of the game.

Yeah, you need access to the Canyon in order to do it, so you can reach Sakon's Hideout.

I remember I fucked up like 3 times on it, once because I forgot to equip my Stone Mask in order to pass by Sakon on the way to the hideout (since you're only given an hour to do so), once again because I didn't hide properly enough and the last time was because I didn't know what the fuck I was doing inside the hideout and I lost the sun mask.

It's a real pain in the ass to get through, especially since you need to do it twice to get the bottle and the Mailman's Hat.

We never see Kafei grow up, so are we to assume he stays in child form? This has pedo written all over it!

While I wouldn't complain at a MM sequel, I'd prefer something more along the lines of a spiritual successor.

Posting here because I didn't feel like making a whole new thread.

What's the deal with Wind Waker's difficulty curve? Don't get me wrong I love the game, but it seems to hand out rupees and bombs and arrows as soon as I trip over grass or slap a baddie. I have like over 1500 rupees and am maxed out on bombs arrows etc. What's the point of having a wallet that can hold 5000 rupees? I haven't even had to buy anything even close to that expensive. Or really buy anything besides bait and pears, which I almost never use anyway.

In case younger kids need mommy or daddy to help them by bombing around with the Tingle Tuner.

That's another thing, I don't need the Tingle Tuner to complete the game do I? I know he pranced around and talked about how I need it, but that's just in game marketing bullshit right?

Those kids would never get past the stealth shit in the fortress.

I played about 10 minutes of Windwaker before I said "fuck this".

It's probably the only time I've ever been turned off by Zelda...and I've played the CGI games.

I can't for the life of me understand why someone wouldn't like Wind Waker. That game was fucking fabulous and way more enjoyable than OoT and Twilight Princess, as well as harder, better combat and more rewarding in general. You playing the game for 10 minutes means you literally didn't even start the game yet, and that's ignorance.

Wind Waker's great but it's nowhere near the game OoT is. And as for it being harder and more rewarding in general...are you fucking kidding me?

Once you beat OoT you basically don't want to play it again for 5 years. And when you do go back and play the game it's easy as fucking balls and completely lacks replay value.
