How about "Rampage" for the NES? Imagine better graphics and adding 300 MORE levels of the same thing over and over. It would be pretty sweet, huh? |
A Rampage remake is available for the Wii.
Lots of unlockable characters, 3D, climbing between buildings, bosses. Been done

That's awesome. I don't own a Wii, my friend does, so I never really looked to deeply into the library of games for that system. I guess that five seconds on Google would have told me, but then again, hearing it from Ghandi makes it more enlightening. Thanks for telling me.

That version is also on the GCN, PS2, and XBox. And it has arcade perfect ports of the original Rampage and World Tour.

They really need to make a new eternal champions. I am really into the one on genesis and feel its a solid fighter that was ahead of its time. They need to bring it up to date, it has timeless characters and a compelling storyline to accompany it. One thing that killed me was that you couldn't dash into combos and always had to jump into them. Just going through and adding little things like that would make for a badass fighter.

Guitar Hero 1
That game has the crappiest Hammer-On/Pull-Off system EVER. Make it with the HO/PO system from GH3 and it'll be much better.

Hammer offs are infuriatingly difficult to execute properly with a real guitar, at least for me.

With practice, you'll get used to it. Although, I do agree with anyone who says that real guitar is more difficult than Guitar Hero. I mean come on, it's only 5 colored buttons!

Not a remake but there's a fan translation project is going on for Mother 3 (which we can call Earthbound 2).
Guess it's about to be complete.

I dunno, but I got bored of Earthbound after a while and never finished it. It is a fun game though.

A remake of Metal Warriors would be awesome. Definitely not going to happen, but it would be awesome.

A remake (or, dare I ask, a sequel not exclusive to cell phones) of Parasite Eve would be nice.

I'd REALLY like to see a come back for Streets of Rage...I'd snatch that up in a hot second!
And Paperboy, Redneck Rampage, Myst...and that amazing Alien vs. Predator sidescroller beat 'em up from the arcade, not to be confused with the poopalicious SNES one that made me want to scoop my eyes out with a soup spoon.

GoldenEye 64 almost got a remake as an XBLA game. |
A remake of GoldenEye would be cool but have the fun of that game was the choppy graphics. On DK mode the hilarity made the game more exciting.
I doubt Rare would do this anyway...

Not too long ago I was thinking how cool it might be if they brought back the Road Rash series. I think now would be a great time to revive it. |
If Nintendo remade LttP it would be a failure, I just know Nintendo would fuck it up... somehow.
Yeah Road Rash is an awesome series and a new game or remake would be pretty sweet.

I'm so bananas I'm showing up to your open casket,
to fill it up with explosive gases,
and close it back,
with a lit match in it,
while I sit back, and just hope it catches.
Blow you to fragments,
laugh,
roll you, and smoke the ashes.

A true Nights sequel, damnit. Another Guardian/Gunstar Heroes would also be most welcome (not the gay Gameboy version either) and fuck Madden, I want my NFL 2K back.

All Pro Football 2K8 is a good game that is probably as close as we are going to get to the 2K games coming back.
I think its a fun game - you can build our own team, and it has the announcers from the 2K games in it.
Unless you are a bitch about not having the NFL teams on there, its really a great game. They have imaginative team names and cities.

We need Battletoads NOW!!!
Also, a new Double Dragon, Burgertime, Uniracers, Blackthorne, Actraiser, and a New Pilotwings.
I think I may mentioned these before, this thread seems much like an older one I remember.

I'd honestly like to see the original Super Smash Bros. on the N64 get remade on the DS. I think it would be awesome, especially since it could also have the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.
