So yeah, update on here for those that were actually curious what happenned.

Last night I got a call from my sister. Apparently the wedding gown that her mother-in-law-to-be picked out is hideous. The gown she wants is $250, but money's tight for them and I was the only one she could really turn to for help. I told her about how I wanted to be the one to give her away instead of her friend Garrett. If I had acted sooner things probably would have worked out. Since he already bought his suit (none of the guys have to wear tuxedos, just a suit), she doesn't want it to be a waste of money.

Long story short, I may not be giving her away, but I'm still going to be involved in her wedding by paying for her gown.

It's not like I'm not attending the thing. If she banned me from that there's no way in hell I'd foot the dough (which I've been promised to be repaid for). Plus, I seriously doubt she'd ever be able to forget who was able to get the gown for her in the first place.

All of the stuff in that first paragraph is what matters most to me, glad to have a female opinion on this kind of stuff.

I'll pass on the good wishes next time I talk with her, the wedding's in May.
