Remember how scary it was when you walked into a room and couldn't see them, but you could here the clicking of their claws when they walked?

Especially when the clicks suddenly got faster and you realize that they can see you, yet you can't see them because of a crap camera angle. Mad

Just kidding, everyone hates that bastard.

There's a lot of enemies I just love, I can't choose just one so, I will go for my first favorite enemy ever, the gray goomba. Don't know why, but the gray goomba is just the first enemy I remember that had the "I'm cool" tag on it.

The Butcher - Diablo

Ragnaros - World of Warcraft

Whole Roster - Unreal Tournament

No one hate on me for putting an enemy from World of Shitcraft, I like the giant flame guy, especially his hammer. That hammer was giant and bad ass.

Jesus fucking christ, do you actually like WoW or do you hate it? Stop trying to pick whatever makes you look better, just decide for yourself.

Nothing from that pile of failure can be badass, unless it's something that was ripped from another source.

Out of all of the World of Warcraft raid bosses or even the lesser enemies in WoW, Ragnaros is an odd choice.

There have been some mediocre Batman films, but the only outright bad one I can think of is Batman and Robin. Begins was quite good, The Dark Knight was a work of genius, and even Batman Forever had its good points. World of Warcraft, on the other hand, is a boring timesink meant to filch money from obsessive fuckwits who have to grind their way up the ladder to level 70 just to validate themselves.

About the WoW thing. I had a lot of fun with that game back when all of my real life friends played it. There were about 20 of us all together and good times were had. We had the most fun messing around with people. Me and my best friend did tend to get out of hand and pulled stunts such as: fun with emotes with a character named Gød, and why it's a bad Idea to bring a twink shaman named Osama of the guild the <The Al Queda> into the 20-29 (at the time 20-30) bracket. Yeah it was kind of messed up, but whatever. I still play it but I don't raid and most of my old friends quit the game. Yeah, there are a lot of people that somehow think having a 70 decked out in all the best raid gear makes you a rock star but not everybody is like that. More recently my uncle and I made a couple of characters and it is just as fun as it was back when all my friends still played.

It's not that the game is inherently horrible, I just hate what it does to people. If you can play it and still retain your social life, more power to you. I also don't like paying $14 a month.

Exactly. That's $14, plus 5 crispy all white meat chicken nuggets from Wendy's. A month.

That's why I don't play online games. I believe once you buy it, the deal is done.

Yeah I understand what you mean when you say that you have seen what games like this can turn people into. WoW was the first real MMORPG that I ever played. Before I played it, I was one of those people that said I would never play one because I have seen what they can do to people. I remember back in the "salad days" when I was a kid (13 years ago in this case) I would take daily trips to the mall to mess around at the arcade, go to the comic book store, stop by the video game store to look at games ect ect. At the video game store (EB) there was this guy Drew that worked there. Every time I walked passed the store I would hope that he wasn't there because he was really creepy and rude. That guy worked at that store for my entire childhood and I probably never spoke more than one word to him. About 7 years after that, I had gotten a job at another mall's EB when one day, of all people, Drew walked in to the store. He apparently had gotten transferred from the mall I had hung out as a kid because he had gotten into an altercation with a fellow employee over Everquest. He actually pushed some guy over the counter for making fun of his choice of gear. How he didn't get fired I don't know. However, he was actually a pretty interesting guy and I sort of felt sorry for him because despite having obvious mental issues he was very intelligent. He was 45 years old, about 200 pounds over weight, only shaved three times a year, and by about two hours into each shift he had puddles of sweat growing underneath his armpits. Customers made fun of him constantly and brutally, and some days he had to go home early because the harassment would get the best of him. The only reason for his entire existence was Everquest. The sole purpose of his job was to pay for rent, food and Everquest. The only thing he was interested in talking about was that game. He finally got fired one day after walking in a half hour late looking really pissed off and downright homocidal. I guess my manager at the time promised Drew that he was going meet him on the game the night before but for some reason or another didn't make it. Drew got so mad that he took out 2 shelves and put a sizable crack in the front window of the store entrance. I really would be surprised if Drew was still alive today he was a tragedy.

When WoW came out, one of the managers at my job at the time (also a huge EQ guy) Wayne, convinced me to buy the game. I got to level 16 on a human priest before all my other real life friends rolled horde on a different server. Being that they were better friends than Wayne was and that horde looked exponentially more bad ass than the alliance, I decided to join them and rolled an undead priest. Wayne was 34 when WoW came out and he lives in a three bedroom apartment with four other guys about the same age. You walk into the apartment and it is filled with nothing but mutli-sided dice, TCG cards, Nerdy movie poster ect. It also smells like a gym and you have to watch where you step because you might hit a half empty Mountain Dew can or step some 34 year olds favorite action figure (or even worse some 34 year old sleeping on the floor). A future I am sure most people don't look forward for themselves. He is a really nice guy I guess and has really good gear in WoW, but at what cost?

Back when I first started playing WoW, I had no idea what was in store for the end game. Walking past a priest with the best gear in the game I would automatically assume that the guy must just be really good. Fact of the matter is you can't be really good at WoW. There are people that are downright retarded as there is in any "social" system, but the only thing that separates the “good players” from the “really good ones” is how much time you are willing to spend in front of the computer with 25 to 40 people you don't know. There is a huge argument going on right now in WoW that involves casual players versus hardcore players. Hardcore players are pissed off because Blizzard has been implementing ways to obtain good gear without having to spend hours wiping on the same boss over and over again. You can now spend a month in the battlegrounds for example to gear yourself up enough to beat the crap out of the "hardcore players" in PvP, thanks to a little thing called resilience. I find the whole thing laughable because these "hardcore" are asking for even more of grindfest and seem to want more bosses to die to for four to six hours a day. Obviously these are the Everquest people. I have met them and know first hand that wanting to be "more like them” is definitely not something to wish for.

The server that I happen to play on most of the time is especially snobby and elitist. The forums are especially bad for this server and, for the record, I have played on a few different servers in my time in WoW. This one, is the worst. It is always the same people posting the same stupid shit over and over trying to convince people that they are more relevant than one another for one virtual feat or another. They make little @”Playernamehere” threads to each other to scream insults over the internet or even worse profess their love for one another using bull shit inside jokes. Their whole life revolves not only around the game, but now, around what people they will never even meet in real life think of them. I wonder how relevant their life will be when WoW inevitably comes to an end.

Since Hauntzor revived the Most Hated Video Game Enemies thread, I decided to revive this thread. My favorite enemy currently is Hitler from Wolfenstein 3D, specifically on the 3DO.

Since it's been revived, I'm going to Say Revolver Ocelot. Not only does he quadruple cross every character in the MGS series except Big Boss, he is one tough mother...
