There's now a supposedly "leaked" document out that cost $100,000 if you're in $cientology to get that you can download it for free. It's like a 600 page 17MB PDF. I downloaded it, but haven't looked at it yet.

If it's the same one I read, it takes a hell of a lot of time to read between the lines.

So here's to you Mrs. Robinson. People love you more- oh, nevermind.

Honestly, what makes it different from other religions? All of them contain magical stories to preach a message that is ignored by 90% of their followers, who only say they follow that religion so that they'll fit in to their society. As long as they're not shooting civilians or something, let them do whatever the fuck they want.
Scientologists also have a religious edict that states that anything that impedes their quack philosophy must be opposed with any means necessary, without regards to legality or base human decency.

You've heard of the incident where they infiltrated the government correct?

Yeah, Operation whatever. I'm talking about the tenets of their faith. I've read up all of the different things they've done, where they neglected that woman, seperated families and all of that, and they should have tax exemption taken away for charging their members. I agree that a lot of the crap they practice should be prosecuted within the law. It's when people make fun of their belief in thetans, xenus, and volcanoes where it's just plain hypocrisy and dogs me.
I'm an atheist, so it all sounds like nonsense to me. Oddly enough, a religion invented by a science fiction writer sounds like science fiction. Old mythological religions sound like mythology. Funny how that works. But we have the criminal records of the leaders of Scientology and Mormonism, so their easy targets.

"A myth is a religion people no longer believe in anymore."

I don't remember who said that, but it's a good quote.
