I wondered the same thing as to why no one tried to help, but from what I read, it said he started stabbing the guy in the throat. Not much they could do to save his life, but they could have spared the end result possibly.

Wow, I posted this on another forum and it blew up into a shit storm of "this shouldn't be posted here". Some people should stop being snivelling whining sensative vaginas.
Why don't any of you get so offended by this? No one here seems to get their tampon in a twist about it.
That must have been one hell of a knife to take the guys head off, that or he had a lot of time to do so.

not really, the only tough part to cut through would be the spine. If there was some sort of planing involved, the killer would have used a hunting knife, which should be able to cut through the bone.
And there is no reason to be offended by some news.

To top off the whole ordeal, he showed the head to all the passengers after he decapitated the guy. Held the head up high like Sub Zero. Without the spine.
Everybody I know is raving about this whole incident. How is the bus company gonna convince people their services are safe now? First incident in how many years....

See in America a lot of people are armed, I bet someone would shot the crazy bastard, or at least started stabbing him. I know it would have never went down on a downtown city bus.
