I hate both of the candidates, and most likely will not be voting, period. But if your backing me into a wall, I'd place my vote for McCain.

I'm not overly thrilled with either candidiate, but I'm voting for the lesser of two evils: Obama.

I hate the way voting works. Either vote for this or that. It's always seemed to be a battle of Democrat versus Republican. It's bullshit. I want a dedicated third party candidate to win an election or at least give the Dems and Reps a run for their money.

This will be the first election I'll be able to vote in, and I'll be voting for Obama. I have a great dislike for the Republican Party due to Bush's eight years of incompetence, and do not want to have four more years of Republicans.
Where I stand on issues:
-Anti-ILLEGAL immigration. I have nothing against legal immigrants, but do think we should somehow make the process of coming to America easier.
-Pro-Gay Rights. I am especially in favor of repealing the military's "don't ask, don't tell" rule, favoring that gays should be allowed to serve in the military.
-Against the war. Me and my family thought this war was a bad idea from the start and I favor getting out as soon as possible. This is my main reason for supporting Obama over McCain.
-On economics: I favor finding jobs for unemployed Americans, rather than keep them on welfare.
-I support Obama's proposed health care policy mandating health care for children but not for adults, on grounds that some adults might not be able to afford health care. That having been said, I support ways to get cheaper health care so it will be an option for everyone. I also like this part of the plan: "Guaranteed eligibility. No American will be turned away from any insurance plan because of illness or pre-existing conditions." Chuck Schuldiner (from the band Death) was denied insurance because he didn't seek it until after he had cancer, and he died as a result. I don't want that to happen to anyone else.
-I am for stem cell research.

That's just a snippet of how I feel, to give you an idea of why I am supporting Obama. I don't agree with him 100%, but I find I agree with him much more than John McCain/The Republican Party in general.

Neither. I think they both suck, and I lost interest when Ron Paul lost the ticket to McCain. If I were registered, I would vote for Bob Barr but he's a libertarian, which means there's no way he'll win. I'd rather not wait in line to vote, anyway. Fuck this election!

But of the two choices, I chose McCain.

I'd vote Obama if I was American. I do kind of like McCain for some reason though.

Obama. McCain is the anti-Christ. But Obama is also very inexperienced.

Lincoln and both of the Roosevelts were also very inexperienced.

I'm just tired of old fart politicians decaying on the floor of the capitol saying "Government doesn't do anything anyway, so just elect me instead of this douchebag because I like God more. It's nice to see someone who speaks like he WANTS to help the country, and less like he DESERVES to run the country.

Also, I'd like to say that Libertarian economics is a horrible idea.

So here's to you Mrs. Robinson. People love you more- oh, nevermind.
