25. RKO
24. Camel Clutch
23. Twist of Fate
22. Crossface Chickenwing
21. Macho Man Elbow Drop
20. FU
19. Total Elimination
18. Stratsufaction
17. Shooting Star Press
16. Million Dollar Dream
15. Rude Awakening
14. Van Terminator
13. Razer's Edge
12. Frog Splash
11. Swanton Bomb
10. Mandible Claw
9. Tazzmision
8. Rock Bottom
7. Sweet Chin Music
6. Perfect Plex
5. Pedigree
4. Figure Four Leg Lock
3. Sharpshooter
2. Tombstone Piledriver
1. Stone Cold Stunner
This list caught me off guard. The lack of the Atomic Leg Drop is shocking, though not unwelcome, to me. Also, the fact that Macho Man's elbow drop is on there is a pleasant surprise.

Well, the FU invalids some of the list. If a fireman's carry can make top 25 anything can... so let's see what else made it. AH! The RKO, blown moves do make cool lists these days. Where's the talent?
Trish's finisher wasn't that amazing, maybe she was the token female to make the list I'll take a hot blonde any day.
Remember, this is the WWE. I am honestly shocked that the Atomic Leg Drop or the Pedigree wasn't number one. Not because they are good moves, although the Pedigree isn't bad, but because of how much the WWE pushed Hulk and pushes Triple H.

Yeah, given how much Vince hates Savage, that's pretty awesome the elbow drop made #21.
Where's the chokeslam, or double chokeslam? The 3D? Why are there basically 2 frog slams in a row? Why are there 2 illegal choke holds in a row?
Some of the things that made it are indeed surprising, but just by virtue of being a list made by the WWE it can't be correct. The Canadian Destroyer is the best finishing move ever.

I know that's bullshit.
I'm so bananas I'm showing up to your open casket,
to fill it up with explosive gases,
and close it back,
with a lit match in it,
while I sit back, and just hope it catches.
Blow you to fragments,
laugh,
roll you, and smoke the ashes.
You would think the CC would okay now that HBK and HHH have been using the move.
I find it funny that they put The Shooting Star Press on the list when they banned it for last few years.

Diamond Cutter > RKO
No Jacknife Powerbomb kind of saddens me, hell even the Last Ride isn't on there and that's bs. I also don't think I've ever seen RVD use the Van Terminator in WWE....unless I'm missing something. Glad to see the Razer's Edge and Macho Man's elbow Drop though.
Me too, I miss him and his music that rips off "Smells Like Teen Spirit". =\

I miss DDP too. Half the fun was seeing how he was going to hit someone with the Cutter.

Whenever the opponent has to do as much as the guy pulling the move off for them not to die, I see it as a not so good move. Besides, a good finisher is one where you could put it on any size opponent, not just Jay Lethal.

I pretty much agree with this post. The CD is overrated.
I would agree that the DC is among the top 1-5 greatest finishers ever, along with the Stunner, Crossface, Sweet Chin Music and SSP. Now if we're talking INDY finishers, whole different ballpark.

I wish they would let Paul Burchill still do the finisher he had in his indy days, The C4.

Burchill did the C4 when he debut during his pirate gimmic. Crazy finisher.
