I've been playing Neverwinter Nights for the last... um.... well all weekend. All day yesterday too. That's why I haven't been on the forum.

Last big game I've played was Diablo 2. I need a new laptop, mine is getting old and won't play WoW for some reason.

This is pretty much me, though I haven't played Counter Strike in years. It's mostly Unreal Tournament or Team Fortress 2.

I play D2 as well and I'll probably get the 3rd one. Other than that I don't play any PC games.

I'm so bananas I'm showing up to your open casket,
to fill it up with explosive gases,
and close it back,
with a lit match in it,
while I sit back, and just hope it catches.
Blow you to fragments,
laugh,
roll you, and smoke the ashes.

I am a PC gamer. I always have been and probably always will be.
I will say that I am stuck 2 years behind on average though. It wasn't always that way, but hardware is too fucking expensive. I don't have $400 to keep up with new video cards and NVIDIA/Intel wars.
What killed the PC Gaming experience? Nothing yet. But NVIDIA & Intel sure as fuck will if they don't stop fighting.

I actually just finished building my new gaming pc just the other day, works great, spent all of last night playing Crisis with AA on. That game is crazy. Can't wait for SC2 and D3. Also a huge fan of Sins of a Solar Empire, the game is awesome!

In a way, each of us has an El Guapo to face. For some, shyness might be their El Guapo. For others, a lack of education might be their El Guapo. For us, El Guapo is a big, dangerous man who wants to kill us. But as sure as my name is Lucky Day, the people of Santa Poco can conquer their own personal El Guapo, who also happens to be *the actual* El Guapo! |

Now's the time to upgrade. Thanks to the surprising power of DAAMIT's (ATI/AMD) new 48 series of cards, and their low price, nVidia had to slash prices across the board. You can get a 8800 GT for $120, or a 4850 for $150, and won't be disappointed.

Yes... but I am on an A8N-SLI board which is virtually non-upgradable. I would need to update the whole system to change out my processor.

For under $500 you could upgrade to a system that will stomp a PS3 or 360 in the gaming department.

I'd really love to get back into PC gaming so I can get a game with decent AI, but I'm tired of desktop computers since I got my laptop (and gaming laptops cost a fortune and are a pain to upgrade. I still play Day of Defeat and Counter-Strike 1.6/Source ocassionally, though.

So here's to you Mrs. Robinson. People love you more- oh, nevermind. |

I will make that decision when I find out if I can keep my laptop from work.

I am a PC Gamer at heart, I started playing PCs at the age of 2. Well more mash buttons and shit. But I would buy any game on a PC over a Console Game just because of the easier controls.

Mechwarrior 2 was the first video game that I owned. I love PC gaming. I've already started on my new rig, since the one I have now is an old motherboard running a first-generation P4 with 2GB of RDRAM. The best part of that machine is that I have my GPU overclocked to 600MhZ. I can run most things pretty well, if I turn down the graphical options. I've already grabbed the power supply, an 800w SLI and Crossfire certified model. Next up is the motherboard, which will be the new nForce 790i Ultra. I can't wait to have this thing done!
Then, I'll have to get a new laptop.
