SOURCE

An eyewitness to Wednesday's college shooting in Montreal that injured as many as 16 people said students were lying on the floor when a shooter opened fire.

The shooter was telling police officers on the scene to go away in a "rude manner," said the Dawson College student, who was inside the school when the man started firing his weapon randomly.

A number of witnesses say the shooter didn't appear to reload his weapon as he fired multiple times...

It's not clear how many shooters were involved. Reports say two gunmen are dead and two people are in surgery in life-threatening condition following the gunfire.

My prof decided to spend the first half hour of class talking about it this morning. They even sent out an e-mail to the entire student population, letting them know that councillors would be avialable for those who want it. I was impressed.

Random violence is always awful.

Also, I can't help but feel that this undermines Bowling For Columbine, since a major part of Michael Moore's argument was that Canada has more guns than America but Canada doesn't have violence.

Ooooooooooooo! One shooting! I guess we can throw out Moore's whole argument! His statistics are waaaaaaaaaay off now!
Naturally, I had to respond to that in the most inappropriate, immature way possible. Wink

Nonetheless, tragedy it is. But I don't think I'm going to be mourning September 13th anytime soon, no offense to anyone directly affected by this incident.

If Canadian soldiers started shooting protesters Neil Young style, I might begin to worry.

And now that I'm done talking out of my ass, I think I outta kick myself. Embarrassed

Should we run a comparitive analysis of the US vs. Canada in the way of school shootings? Twisted Evil I think Michael Moore was right on the money!

I blame Mohawks LOL... that's the message I got from the media...
