Lately I have been smoking the internet crack known as Encyclopedia Dramatica. And I hit a web-browsing gold mine when I discovered they had an entire section dedicated to insulting furries. I guess what cracks me up about it was my previous infatuation with the Sonic the Hedgehog comics, which was more or less furfapping material, and then looking up individual entries of people with their sick twisted fetishes along with their furry infatuation.

So...if anyone here has ever known any "furry" lovers, I guess I would like a slightly less absurd account of the story.

I was part of a message board that had a furry that was also homosexual, wich is weird because their is hardly a difference between male and female critters in appearence so why would the gender matter?

He also had some strange belief system. IMHO furries are fucking retarted and need to be shot like the critters that turn them on.

One time at around one o'clock in the morning, there was a special on G4 about furries. I watched it, and it was a little...weird. It started as a simple costume party, but then...blech. But do furries actually have sex? Because unless there was something too explicit to show on TV, all I saw was a whole bunch of body-slamming and grinding.

Furries like to fuck people dressed like animals because certain animals turn them on. I'm sure there are a few out there who actually fuck animals.

I have a friend who is a furry. It is funny because he is a gay black man who speaks in Ebonics despite having a large vocabulary. I just thought I should throw that in there in the spirit of the original question.

You don't need to. I understand that people find furies weird, and I honestly can't unserstand it myself, but if it gets them off and doesn't hurt anyone, I don't see the problem. If you guys see a problem with it, go right ahead and bash, I am not going to stop you, I'll just disagree with you.

As long as they're not molesting my dog I won't have cause to be violent towards them.

I'm not sure wich is worse, Pedophillia or being a Furry. It's not illegal to be a furry...but one could argue it's weirder, but it doesn't hurt people. Now that I think of it, an Furry that acts out on their attractions is much less harmful than a pedo that does the same.

If a furry fucks a dog, is it considered rape? Or can you prove the dog consented?

OMG but if you mixed the two? I think that would be the anti christ.

NOTE: I do not condone pedophilia, I just think furries are weird as shit.

Bestiality is a separate fetish and is rarely connected to being a furry. However, most furries tend to be gay for some reason.

Really? I thought a good chunk of furries liked to engage in sexual intercourse with animals. That's interesting that they don't.

The gay thing is also confusing. A psychiatrist should do a case study on them.

* Wrong. There are some very fringe types who like the idea of having sex with someone in a fursuit, or even with a specially modified plush toy. There's also a fringe of some people in the fandom that are into beastiality. As an aside, I am not in either group, nor do I even have a fursuit.

* Sounds like he was a therian (basically they spiritually identify with some animal be it a wolf, fox, bear, etc.). They're more of a weird hippy-type furry. Also, the part about being gay, yeah that's pretty common in the fandom too. But by no means is it the vast majority. I've met a decent number of straight males as well as females (of both persuasions) at conventions.

I have no idea, I never talk to him about. He likes D&D, MtG, and is in collage in Ohio (I think) right now, if that helps.

Well thanks for answering without tearing me a new asshole. I thought furries liked doing people dressed in animal costumes. So what is a basic furry then? I'm not totally sure what defines one as such. Just being turned on by animals? please elaborate if possible.

The belief the one guy had didn't have to do with animals so much, they believed in a god like figure called Gaia I THINK, I can't recally 100%. It had something to do with Gaia, being the earth, being semi alive or something.

Well, to an extent I'm a furry (Well, if you've seen my avatar then that's a given). More a furry artist. But I have no interest in the sex part, as I am in fact an asexual. :3 Thanks lordsathien for pointing out that furriness is specific to each individual. Very Happy
