Without thinking about it at all, the first thing that comes to mind is the theme song to Pete and Pete, which is "Hey Sandy" by Pete and Pete.

I's by Polaris from what I've been told.
Anyway the Futurama theme song wins, end of story.

If we're talking original theme song here, I'd have to go with The A-Team aswell. I always start whistling that theme when I'm in a good mood.
If previously released songs played over opening credits count, I might go with the Freaks and Geeks theme song "Bad Reputation" by Joan Jett & The Blackhearts.

I don't remember the A-Team
"The Fresh Prince of Bel Air" was cool.
The cello based instrumental from "Angel" is awesome too.

Oh yeah, my bad, just a misthought. I got Pete and Pete on the brain, what can I say.

A few picks:
Angel's Theme (by Darling Violetta BTW, a great band.)
The Animaniacs Theme
Freakazoid Theme
MST3K Theme
I also liked "Save Me" when Smallville first came out, but then the song got way too overplayed on the radio.

The theme song from Friends fills my soul with joy, and reaffirms my belief that all people everywhere deep down are good honest decent people.

Rocko's Modern Life, 90's X-Men, and Batman: Animated Series all have my favorite themes.
