Without thinking about it at all, the first thing that comes to mind is the theme song to Pete and Pete, which is "Hey Sandy" by Pete and Pete.

If we're talking original theme song here, I'd have to go with The A-Team aswell. I always start whistling that theme when I'm in a good mood.

If previously released songs played over opening credits count, I might go with the Freaks and Geeks theme song "Bad Reputation" by Joan Jett & The Blackhearts.

"The Fresh Prince of Bel Air" was cool.

The cello based instrumental from "Angel" is awesome too.

The Animaniacs Theme
Freakazoid Theme
MST3K Theme

I also liked "Save Me" when Smallville first came out, but then the song got way too overplayed on the radio.
