I'm not sure how to fix it. It was working fine before, but now it won't start. I've already reinstalled VirtuaNES a few times trying to see if that was the problem and also an earlier version. Still nothing.
From what I can see there are three possibilities:
1. Some other program is already using the sound system. Kill that program.
2. Something is wrong with your sound drivers. Reinstall drivers.
3. Something is wrong with the DirectX sound settings. Try changing the sound settings (no idea what that specificially would be though).
