Since the release of RE4 for PC has been pushed back further and further, with no possible release in sight, I've grown eager to enjoy a little third person, over the shoulder shooting fun. Using the mod "The Specialists" for half life, I did some custom camera stuff and set up a team of enemy bots called the GANNA DOPES (like the ganados
) who run at you and try to kick your ass, like the real thing. Anyway, it's not quite the same, but it provides for some entertainment. Me and three other friends all join the navy seal team and fight a bunch of gordon freemans in trenchcoats on city maps, turning the place into a regular racoon city. We break into gun stores to stock up on ammo and go blast the crap out of them, hiding out in diners and hotels and 7-11's along the way. It's a good time for everyone.
