Pretty much all action movies made today.
Action movies were cooler when you could actually SEE what was happening on screen. Nowadays it's all about speed.....changing camera angles, CGI explosions, loud noises.
Predator, Robocop and First Blood Part II were REAL action movies.

Yeah the whole speed up slow down thing is getting kind of old. It makes the actors look like they know how to fight/battle when it's sped up, then they bullettime the cool deaths periodically. It was cool when it was new, but it's just boring now.

Exactly. The Bourne Identity movies were particularly guilty of this. I know a lot of people like those movies so I don't want to offend, but I didn't care for them too much. The fight scenes were just too fast, and too furious. Which reminds me of another movie that sucked.......Too Fast too Furious.

2 Fast 2 Furious. I love the Bourne movies, the books are just as good. In all fairness, the fights were awesome, to "military" trained weapons going at it. Plus there weren't that many fight scenes anyways. The Fast and the Furious was a great movie, not so much the second one like you said. Never saw the third one with the Cowboy either.

IMO the fights Steven Seagall had in the Under Seige movies were better. He was a badass Navy Seal fucking people up with knives.
Granted Matt Damon isn't an Aikido master, so I guess they couldn't do it with him.

Horror. It's pretty sad when even the R-rated stuff sucks these days.

The 3rd Fast and the Furious movie you guys are talking about is Tokyo Drift.
Also, yeah. Horror movies today are more about who can out-blood and guts each other than actual, you know, horror. They don't even scare me anymore these days. I seen 'em all. Every trick in the book is used to hell.

For some reason, I never seem to get tired of those low-budget horror movies with the terrible acting, horrible CG animation, and blood that looks like beet juice. As for actual no-nonsense horror movies...yeah, I haven't seen a movie that scared me since I was maybe eight.

I'm tired of CGI based movies. I remember when they used to come out like once or twice a year, and it would be such a big deal that the movie would RAPE the box office, but now they're a dime a dozen, which is a shame because Wall-E was a fantastic movie, CGI or not.

Psychological horror can be good, but the most recent efforts are weak.

Training Day was scary imo, and it wasn't really a horror movie, other than that horror has never really been scary, more like hilarious.

I hear a lot of people say that. I must be pretty easy to scare then.
