This thread just strikes me to being similar to a kid in a backyard with a few friends throwing a ball back and forth, all the while looking out into the street where lots of other kids are playing their own game of basketball and saying "see... guys, the ball is fun... see... guys?"
If you food forum advocates have your forum, big ups to you guys. For real, I'm glad you have a place to talk about PB & J. But I don't need to be reminded about how little I care about the ball game in the back yard.

I never really cared about a food forum, it was just a suggestion at the time. Then everyone got so up in arms about it that it was hard to not keep it going. It definately spawned some great threads and comments.

Actually, it's more like us having a fun ballgame in the backyard while the kids are on the street whining about it and are trying to get us to go back inside.

I feel it necessary at this time to say that I was never an advocate of the food forum. Someone listed me as a member of the Militia, but I voted no in Douche's poll. My Dr Pepper thread was part coincidence, partly inspired by the various other food threads. I am sorry to have mislead you all. I have created great dishonor to my family.
