Hey, guys! I just bought a Sega Saturn this previous afternoon because I spotted it in a used game shop. Along with the system, I got three used games: Nights into Dreams, Fighting Vipers and Daytona USA. I was wondering if anybody else has a Sega Saturn and if anybody could recommend some Sega Saturn games to me.

Oh, and I also bought an import Game Gear game with the Saturn. It's a soccer game called J-League GG Pro Striker '94.

Panzer Dragoon Saga

These might be fairly dated by today's standards, I haven't played any of them in like 10 years, but they were fun back then:

Virtua Fighter 2
Fighter's Megamix
Last Bronx
Virtua Cop 2

For fuck's sake, Guardian Heroes. Bomberman beat me too it, though. It's treasure's best game in every regard.

Geez, you Americans have it great. You walk into a store and see an old console waiting for you to buy it... And it's cheap as shit, too.

It's decided. I am moving to America. I'd need to freeload at somebody's house for a while, though. Anyone want a guy owning a Playstation, two computers, a Wii and a DS?

Oh, and a shitload of PC games, too.

You should totally check out the IRC channel.

Mr. Bones is one of the must-have lost treasures of the Saturn.

So here's to you Mrs. Robinson. People love you more- oh, nevermind.

Oh yeah! I've heard great things about Guardian Heroes for the Saturn. I'm definitely going to have to buy it.

I might also have to go for Radiant Silvergun.

If you can track down a copy of Assault Suits Valken 2, I'd grab that.

The 2 D&D-license beam-'em-ups by Capcom. Assuming you don't already play ROMs of the arcade versions.

Another good suggestion. I might have to check eBay for that, though.

Shining Force 3 if you can find it.

I seem to remember liking Die Hard Arcade a lot when I as younger but I don't know if it holds up.

Castlevania - Symphony of the Night

You can play as Maria in the Saturn version.

Really? For some reason, I though it was only on the Playstation.

Anyway, I might go and buy it.

That game was the reason for me to get a saturn back in the day. Its the best from that series as far as I'm concerned.

Not only that, I think there's one additional stage to the Saturn version, too. Two if you count the inversion.

Well, I should get it, then.

its not better htan the PSX version. it's import only, the loading times suck, the transparencies are nonexistant (which makes fourty percent of the game look ugly IMO), the music doesn't sound as good, and the supposed extra area is pretty useless. it's just an extra area that was originally omitted from the PSX version for time constraints (and because it didn't serve much of a purpose in the game). In fact, the area isn't even completed. being able to pick richter right from the start is kinda cool though. maria is okay as well, I guess, even though she's a shoddily designed character.

Clockwork Nights one and two are very fun games, at least to me. Also, if you can find this game I'd recommend it highly; Burning Rangers. You're a futuristic firefighter. It's pretty good.

The Saturn is my 2nd favorite system of all time. Very underrated machine. Also, Loaded is some ok fun to be had if you can find it.
