I really think a food and drink forum would help guests and new users find food related topics easier than sifting through dozens of threads that are random and have nothing to do with food. I think we do need a food and drink forum, if anything it will reduce clutter and streamline the boards. But that's just my take on it.

You know what would be a good idea? A POP CULTURE FORUM! We could post all the pop culture stuff there that has nothing to do with food, board politics, avatars, M3GA MAN's grammar or the fact that aika is a girl. It would be like heaven!

It's called a search feature, which we have. Who the hell comes to this site and is like "Man I hope they have a really good topic about Waffles!"

The whole food and drink militia thing was amusing at first. Now it's just fucking annoying. It's fucking lame sifting through a bunch of retarded food topics just to find something of any sort of interest. A food topic here and there, LIKE IT"S BEEN BEFORE, is ok, but you guys spamming new food topics every 5 minutes is really grating. There is no need for a food forum. The need for one is being artificially perpetuated by people that want one, so they spam food topics. Yes PB&J is a tasty treat, but is a sorry excuse for a forum topic. Like DarkMaze said, this aint no democracy. Maybe if we all chipped in for the hosting fees, it could be ran like a democracy, but we dont. So all you can do is try to persaude, and I think gumming somebody's forum is NOT a way to get on their good side.

I voted "No", because we simply don't need a forum for food. Maybe one topic for food in the General Discussion, but not an entire forum. Also, as it was brought up once before, I would support the idea of deleting the Reading Forum and moving the topics to General, if it was brought up for consideration.

good idea, like the guy/girl topic. that worked nicely. We could do the same for food. Condense it down to one fucking thread.

The idea of a good thread is that it should be made up of meaningful posts and then die off when it is no longer relevant.

But if SydLexia.com held to those standards I would have no where to post.

What is my point?

This board offers more freedom of expression than most others and quibbling over how the topic of food is organized is the most fucking ridiculous argument ever.

Also if good ideas come out of food posts, tie them into the Sydapedia so that they aren't lost at the bottom of the thread pile.

yeah i think the completely separate forum that deku made is cool for people to get there random food topics out of the way and not cloud up the place but im sure people are about over it anyway just a joke that ran too long.

Okay, here's the deal: I will stop with the foolishness granted that I can post one food topic every three days without people bitching about fabricated posts. I can clearly see that the Food and Drink Forum is a no go, so I will settle for posting my delicious food topics in the General forum.
