I'm going to admit something, the only reason I subscribed to irate is to have something else to watch while i waited for other reviewers to post videos. That is it. It was a half hearted click on the subscribe button from the start. I don't really find it that funny, his review of the crappy games are decent but when he attacks classics like Contra and Zombies Ate My Neighbors, then i only find humor in his constant failure.
He is entertainment at points, as for a serious video game reviewer, then no.

Yeah, the Irate Gamer is a very poor game reviewer and he's not very funny.
I was never into him and he spelled words I learned in elementary school wrong in his videos.

I never really cared much about that guy. He has his moments at times, I guess, but almost every reviewer on YouTube is funnier than that guy.
Plus, I don't like how he does some of his reviews. For example, when he reviewed Ghosts 'n Goblins for the NES, he used scenes from the arcade version. Talk about inconsistency.

This guys’ reviews always irritated me not because of his bland acting or terrible jokes but because he doesn’t do any research about the games he’s stumbling over himself to insult.
“OH MY GOD GUYS! Mario 2 is really based on a Japanese game called Doki Doki Panic! Gosh Almighty, this news is amazingly current and life changing! What? What do you mean it’s not 1991 anymore? Well, shit.”
I gave his videos a chance but had the misfortune of watching his Goonies 2 review first and when you can’t even remember that Brand was Mikey’s brother, let alone look it up on the net, then you should just stop before you come off as an asshole. Anyone who says Zombies Ate My Neighbors is a terrible game isn’t worth the time or effort it takes to click any links to their trash.
Personally though, I enjoy Awesome Video Games it’s the perfect parody of just about every video game show from the late 80‘s, early 90’s and there‘s a Vanilla Ice poster in the background so you know it‘s rad.

I love Awesome Video Games, although the latest story arc was too adult for it's image. I mean, comparing codes to drugs? Is this a PSA series now?
