I've never really considered chocolate as candy.

And I don't usually eat candy.

I don't buy chocolate often; I usually buy a different kind when I do. Therefore, I don't have much of a preference.

I'm so bananas I'm showing up to your open casket,
to fill it up with explosive gases,
and close it back,
with a lit match in it,
while I sit back, and just hope it catches.

Blow you to fragments,
laugh,
roll you, and smoke the ashes.

Let me actually say this:

Almond Joy. Me and four other people have this as our favorite candy bar.

These are most certainly still produced, but not available in all stores. I can't remember where I get mine from, but when I see 'em, I get 'em. And that happens frequently.

P.S. My favorite is Twix or PB Twix. Next is Reese's cups.

It was actually discontinued for a while. Does anybody remember the fudge or cookies and cream? The fudge was pretty good. I can't remember if I liked the other or not.

I absolutely fucking love Twix.

I don't know if they have it in the US, but us Europeans are treated to ice cream based on various candy bars. The Twix one is fucking awesome, altough there's only one in the package, so it kinda makes the name pointless.

Oh, and Snickers is tasty, too.

But Mars sucking fucks.

Either Milky Way or Snickers.

I'm with our robot on this one. Milky Way has been my favorite since I was a little kid. That money they spend for ads between saturday morning cartoons was well invested in my case.

And FUCK Greenpeace. They are the reason I can't get Butterfingers over here any more. Butterfingers were withdrawn from the German market after those tree huggers had organized protests against Nestlé, because of the use of genetically modified corn in their candy bars. I think I'm old enough to decide if I want to eat a candy bar or not. No reason to ruin it for everybody.

(I'm well aware of the irony of attributing my preference for Milky Way to saturday morning ads while claiming to be a responsible customer, thank you.)

We've got that here in the States as well.

As for the Mars comment, I'm curious if you're from the UK since that's a different candy bar over here. The US Mars Bar was discontinued 6 years ago, though Snickers Almond is basically the same damn thing, and the UK one is apparently more like a European Milky Way or a US 3 Musketeers.

I'm from Poland and you're right about the Milky Way comment - it really is similar.

This is turning into a very passionate thread about candy bars. Laughing

I like the ice cream version of Snickers. I dunno why. I was never a big Snickers fan as a kid but maybe it's because I didn't like peanuts when I was young. Now I can kinda put up with them and I find that Snickers tastes really good. Hah. Look at what I'd been missing.

Twix is still my favorite, followed by Butterfinger. I think Snickers is a close third now, though.

I remember the cookies and cream twix. I was going to mention them, but not having seen them in ages, I thought they might have just been something I had imagined.

Is this them? Cookies and Cream Twix (1990s), cookies and cream filling in place of the Caramel. There discontinued now but they were real.

Mars bars are like Snickers, but without the peanuts.
