What's wrong with a food and drink forum? I think I've seen enough talk about food and drink to warrant its own forum.

food & drink wouldnt be a bad idea. but then, there would be too many subsections and it might make it look cluttered (i dont think thats the right term, but its the first term that comes to mind)
anyhow, the toys & stuff topic doesnt get that much traffic either. if anything, you can probably merge the reading topic + toys topic, and then add the food & drink topic.
toys & books or some shit like that and then food & drink

Adding one measly forum isn't going to cause any clutter, will it? Adding a food and drink forum will reduce clutter in the General Discussion forum and it is just specific enough so you don't have to sift through 40 threads to find that topic about pina coladas or whatever. Just my two hundred cents.

Basically how I feel, a thread once a week about french toast sticks or chicken and biscuits doesn't really warrant a forum. Plus most of the drink topics are usually about getting drunk, which I feel would fall under general. Why don't we make a forum about drugs/prescriptions.

I did some back tracking and since March 3rd til today there have been 15 topics based on food/drinks. That's a little less than 4 topics a month. How can you people honestly warrant a need for a food & drink forum?

Seems we have some opposition towards the food idea, some people claim there just aren't enough food related threads out there. Well I'm here to solve that through nonviolent resistence (I prefer violent but you can't do much on the internet). Every day I shall post a food related thread starting today.

How about this: I'll delete all the current forums and add 26 new forums, each one named after one of the letters in the Roman Alphabet. Whatever letter your topic starts with, that's what forum you'll need to post it in. It'll be awesome.
Seriously though, we don't need a food forum. General is fine for that sort of thing.
