Apparently it's some program where you can make your own fighting game with sprites and music files. Anyone have any info?

yeah i used to play this. theres a huge community of mugen players and custom charachters and stages and music and shit. a good place to start would be Random Select.

I was considering making an Edwards fighter on this. Maybe throw howard dean in too, and have him do the ANOREGON uppercut.

I am big into mugen right now. I don't know how to make characters or any of that shit though. I wqould like to one day colalborate with people and make my own characters and stuff.

MUGEN was one of the first open source programs I used when I first had my computer. Let's just say that I didn't get far with it back then, but it would be neat to fuck around with again someday. Woo.

He is Jew. That's his nickname, if you want to get technical his full nickname is "Pete 'The Flying Judaic Submission Machine' Mothafuckin' Kowalsky", but we just stick with Jew to keep things simple.
