Title explains. Yeah we've all seen movies with giant monsters killing people and most of them kicked ass and some didn't. Today we are here to discuss are favorites whether it be Top 5 , 10 , 20, or any number higher. I give descriptions of said monsters after I say the name and the start of where I loved them.

1. King Kong - (King Kong -1933-) - A giant ape that wants love and is considered an Eight Wonder of the World. His primary weapons are his fists.
2. Godzilla - (Godzilla -1954-) - A radioactive fire-breathing dinosaur thats 50 meters tall originally, and now 100 meters tall. His primary weapon is his Atomic Breath.
3. Gamera - (Gamera -1965-) - A giant turtle that can breath fire and has Jets in its ass. His primary weapon is fire from his mouth and in later films spikes on his elbows.
4. Anguirus - (Godzilla Raids Again -1955-) - A dinosaur that is a aggressively tenacious fighter , he lacks the range that Godzilla's other enemies have. Although bulky he can run very fast. He becomes one of Godzilla's closest allies. His primary weapon is his Claws.
5. Baragon - (Frankenstein Conquers the World - 1965-) - A dinosaur that has a horn on its head and has large ears. His primary weapon is a Heat Ray. Baragon can jump very high and burrow under the ground.

This should be in the Movies forum. I'll move it eventually, but not until everybody sees that you still don't know how to use the forums properly.

"Final Wars" Godzilla FTW.

Warning: The following video may be too awesome for some audiences:

Also, Gamera was a pansy until "Guardian of the Universe" in 1995.

Final Wars is great but I always like the destroy all monsters one a little better.

Godzilla is by far the best out of all the giant monsters.

The leader spider in Arachniphobia, I don't really like him, but he did give me an appreciation for lighting spiders on fire and listening to them scream. They DO scream.

I liked his style in this movie, because at first he tried to kill Wesley with Punches and rocks, which is pretty kick ass on it's own. Later on though, he becomes friends with Wesley, and that was cool to see them put aside their differences to team up against the evil prince.

I love every giant monster Power Rangers had to face. They had some killer special effects. The show was so incredibly cheesy I have the theme song as a ringtone on my phone. Nerdiness +1, I guess.

The only Transformer who qualifies as a Giant Movie Monster(TM) is Unicron. And if you are talking about Megatron from the Michael Bay movie, who appeared for all of five minutes in the movie and was a giant shiny nondescript piece of shit, then:

You suck at Duck Hunt.

I'm not sure I understand the first part about why a Transformer wouldn't count as a monster, but I can deal with being wrong on that if for some reason I missed the point here.

Also, I was thinking about the cartoon movie's Megatron.

Animated Megatron just doesn't seem that big. He's what? Maybe 2-3 the size of a human? That's just not big enough to be a Giant Movie Monster(TM).

Devastator could be considered be considered a GMM though, as could any other combination robot. And the aforementioned Unicron, cuz he's huge.

Lastly, there's Fortress Maximus (a whole damn city that transforms):

And to bring this thing slightly back on track from just Transfomers:

Would Clifford the Big Red Dog count as big enough?

What about the dark evil mass in The 5th Element?
