Douche,
What kind of job do you have that you can play games for 40 hours over 3 days?

NES
Super Mario Bros. 2j (or even the real Doki Doki Panic just for shits)
Simon's Quest
Lolo any or all of them
Bionic Commando
G.I. Joe
Super Mario Bros 3
Metal Gear
Life Force
Legacy of the Wizard (one of those games people either seem to love or hate)
Maniac Mansion
Metroid
Legend of Zelda (second quest)
Rygar
StarTropics
Strider
Zelda II
Toobin'
For RPG, I suggest Dragon Warrior III
Also, if you haven't beat Shadowgate, Uninvited, or Deja Vu yet. or even Princess Tomato
Crystalis
SNES
My personal fave, Super Mario World for 100% completion
Either Castlevania
Obviously Link to the Past and Super Metroid
Mystic Quest (for a change of RPG pace)
Gradius III
Contra III
Illusion of Gaia
Soul Blazer
Shadowrun
Mega Man X series
Rock N Roll Racing
Any of the Super Star Wars games
Also, if you don't have SMB2j rom, just play Lost Levels on All Stars

I work in a Data Center, we literally just babysit the system. If something goes wrong I make a phone call or fix it myself, but other than that it's usually 8 hours of boring madness.
Now I'm going to start my 16 hours of utter gaming madness until I get to go home and go to sleep.

Probably the best suggestions in this thread so far, marring a few that I hate.

That's because most American cartoonist are going to Japan to draw Hentai. |

Any list with Gradius III and StarTropics is a winner.

Believe me I know about that. I had it for SNES and I regreted spending the 19.99 to curb my curiousity.
Well I just beat Zelda Link to the Past. That games short, some 6 hours of gameplay...I think I'm going to move on to Metal Gear followed by Snakes Revenge, to finish off the night.

While its nothing amazing, I think Metal Gear is underrated and gets crapped on way too much. I think its because a lot of the younger generation played Metal Gear Solid first, then tried to play Metal Gear. If you grew up with it like I did, its easier to appreciate.

It may be a piece of shit game but it'll be the best three hours of yelling at a game you'll ever have.

I dunno. I just threw the biggest fit I may have ever thrown playing a game. It wasn't three hours worth. but its probably the most profanity that has ever came out of my mouth in a five minute period.
I was playing Mario Party on the Wii. I was doing the single player. I was on the second level where you just have to make it to the end with 50 coins. I got to the end with 47. But it was okay because the computer got there with 0. The second time up, I had like 70 coins and landed on a space like three or four in front of the end that sends you back to the begining. Its okay because once again the computer has only like 7 or so. Well this is when it gets ugly. They take 20 of my coins. I start rolling 2's and 3's. I catch up and get to the end. The computer has 51 coins and is two spaces away from the end. I land on a vs space. I win. But when I throw the dart to determine how many coins I steal, I only got 1. So the computer still had 50. I pretty much had one roll to make it count. Well, I land on that damn space again and get sent back to the begining. The computer wins.
I broke several controllers when I was a kid. I don't do it anymore. I don't get as angry anymore, and I pay for these expensive fucking controllers. But this was the closest I've ever came to throwing a controller as hard as I can at the tv screen. If I was Elvis, I would have shot the fucking tv and had somebody wheel in a new one. Fuck Mario Party. To make things worse, it was due back at the video store on Thursday. So I have to pay a late fee on top of all this. I'm still pissed.

I'm glad I didn't buy Mario Party 8 like a bunch of idiots I know. It's like wiping your ass with $50.

Whoops, I forgot to mention Bionic Commando. That's a fun game to play through. Plus you get to kill Hitler and watch his head explod in 60 seconds.

I don't think its that bad. I actually think the ones on the GC were better. But what I like about this one is that you get to use the capabilities of the Wii remote. What I hate the most is the lack of unlockables. This game could have some good ones. But it is lacking. I would even like it better if it had the same amount of characters, but you had to unlock more of them and start with less. What I can't stand is that the unlockable minigames aren't playable in the main game, and the bulk of the unlockable content are fucking statues that really do nothing. Unlockable characters, unlockable candy, hell, I'd even be okay with alternate outfits (racoon Mario or whatever).
It's okay for groups. But it makes me not want to go solo because of lack of insentive.

Douche, did that download work okay for you? Way to message me back buddy. |
I haven't tried it yet, I was busy killing Ganon and saving the world from Big Boss and Metal Gear. 16 hours down 3 games to my name, 16 more hours to go tonight. I might not have to work the final 40 hours on Sunday we'll find out. Suggestions still welcome though. Today is Crystalis day.

The original Metal Gear on the MSX is about 10x better than the nes version. You don't even fight Metal Gear on the NES version.

I've never played it. I just saw some screen shots of it and it looks good. Does anybody know a good MSX emulator?
