Indeed.
Also, the Mega Man GB games are all long out-of-print and many hardcore gamers prefer playing their games on real platforms as opposed to through emulation. Not only that, the print runs on a lot of GB games were quite limited.
Case in point: if you do a search for the Mega Man 3 NES cart, you'll find an abundance of them up for auction and in eBay stores. If you do a search for the Mega Man III Game Boy cart, you'll only find one American cart and one Japanese cart.

Thats true, though things like that make me wonder how old people are, I would really be curious as to find that out. Because if your a young fella and a megaman game not coming out is listed in your top 3 things that ruined your WORSTE year so far well... lets just say its a mighty slippery slop here on out.

In a way, each of us has an El Guapo to face. For some, shyness might be their El Guapo. For others, a lack of education might be their El Guapo. For us, El Guapo is a big, dangerous man who wants to kill us. But as sure as my name is Lucky Day, the people of Santa Poco can conquer their own personal El Guapo, who also happens to be *the actual* El Guapo! |

2002 the year I broke my arm , they gave me a shot of something and for some odd reason without knowing it I said to a big black nurse that she had pretty eyes gahhh Bad memories. But that was a good year too I learned that I kick ass playing a Gameboy with one hand.

2006 - my father shot himself. I remember sitting on the couch that night thinking 'Well, the plus side of this is that I will never, ever have a day this bad ever again.' Yeah, I sometimes dig black humour.
Now that I read that over, it actually sounds kind of morbid, but I think it's well within the spirit of the thread.

Quoted for truth, my friend, quoted for truth. I'm a world of a different person than I was five years ago.

2004. I met this girl during 10th grade in high school whom I liked, but she told me that she wasn't attracted to me. Yes, that's EXACTLY how she put it. Oh yeah, and my dog died later that year.

I think mine was 2002 where I had some anger issues and had to go to counseling. That was fun. However, 2002 was also the year I discovered "24", which has given my life much bliss ever sense. My anger issues also helped me identify with John Locke on "Lost" a couple of years later. Basically all my problems were fixed with TV.
Oh, another happy memory of that year was my mother gave me a bumble bee ornament for Christmas -a reference to Busy Bee in "Best in Show". Despite blocking out a lot from that year, I do remember the positives; I guess even the minor bits of joy seem more powerful when other shit seems so hopeless.

My worst years were 2004-2006. They were the years in which I went through Middle School. I skipped a grade so my torment was cut short thankfully.

Please don't post the year, because it will start with a 200_. God I feel old.

2007. Lost 50 pounds by practically starving myself at my job, got stuck with a lousy roommate, and found out from a therapist that I have OCD. Banner fargin' year, man.

I don't think I've really had a "bad" year yet per se, but 2000 wasn't the greatest. I had a killer sinus infection for 3 weeks which led to me being put on academic probation, George Bush won the general election, and my roommate/friend from home moved out. When he left, the school paired me up with a 26 year-old Mormon who decided to have a prayer service in my dorm room while I was at work. I was NOT happy about that when I arrived home early to find 16 people squeezed into my tiny dorm room. Three of those freaks were on my bed.
That having been said, it sucks to hear that people have had such terrible experiences.
