I call my NES the Sintendo because it turned to the dark side. Let me know what you think, or if you have customized your NES post a pic.

That's cool. I saw a 360 that somebody modded to look like an NES. It was pretty cool.

I used a matte black spray paint. It might have been the Krylon Fusion paint that's formulated for plastic. If you only paint the top half like I did you won't have to worry about removing the more delicate parts of the console and risk ruining it.

The main reason I painted my NES was because when I bought it, it was all discolored and looked like ass. So this is the result.

Very awesome. Agree about wanting to do something about the discoloration.

I tried to spraypaint my XBox once with disastrous results. Well, cosmetically disastrous. It works fine to this day.

I've seen people build PCs into NES casings. The controller 1 and 2 ports become the keyboard and mouse port, and the game slot holds the CD drive.

Nice paint job on yours, but I think what it really needs is a racing stripe or something. No joke. Plain black is fine, but it could really use a touch more.

Ooh, nice!

Sadly my original NES is many states away, so these days I make do with an FC Ultra (which is, in fact, black).
