Two words: Adventure Island. It could be an epic adventure starring Master Higgins.
EDIT: Another possibly good one could be Final Fight. Yeah, an action style flick with Mike Haggar kicking the shit out of the mad gear gang. That would be sweet. But only if it has good martial arts, camera work, and choreography with somewhat of a plot to ride on. That is all.
A movie based on Final Fantasy IV would be cool. Wonder who would make a good Golbez?

Final Fight didn't even have good choreography Haggar had th best moveset with 2 throws. The jumping piledriver would be sweet to see. If Zangief is in the new SF film and does some version of his spinning piledriver then I can be sure Haggars would look good on screen.
I'm still waiting for the Wolfenstein 3D movie, but I wish it would (1) be based on the original game and (2) star Bruce Campbell.

I agree with DarkMaze. Just the bare thought of a Wolf 3D movie gives you a warm and fuzzy feeling inside, and making it star Bruce Campbell gives you a raging hard-on.

Wow, so many ideas. Vin Diesel as Megaman? Not a bad idea.
The Lufia series would make great movies, though they'd have to be anime.
Metal Gear really is already a movie. Just take the sparse gameplay areas and reformat them into cutscenes. You can even keep the whole thing in it's 3D graphics and it'd still work!
The Diablo series would be good action/horror/blood splattering, rampaging violence movies.
Final Fight's a good suggestion. I'd laugh if they put Jet Li in it.

I hated how at the VERY DAMN END Rro and whatever that girls name is find some sort of magical sword that starts floating and you think to yourself WHOA WTF IS THAT, COOL!, then the credits roll.
I haven't followed anything to do with Shenmue for a while so I'm out of the loop, they're never ever even going to consider making Shenmue 3?

Apparently it's never going to happen. At least not until I carry out said kidnapping plot. God, just do it low-budget Phoenix Write style if you must, but don't leave us hanging like that!

Any of the Final Fantasy games would be alright, as long as they drew from the actual game instead of trying to wing some shit-ass new story. Take one of the truly great storyline games, break it up into a trilogy...I think it could work.
