I've had a PS3 for 3-6 months now , All I can say is I'm dissapointed I spent 700$ on a machine but hey adleast its got good exclusives. I borrowed my cousins Wii for my PS3 for a while (still goin on) and ya Wii rocks. Playstation rocks two the 2nd position and XBOX 360 really sucks.

Tekken 6 I think is pretty good. Motorstorm I like , its the only I game I know with that many god damn vehicles.

Edit : White Knight Chronicles looks fucking awesome for the graphics alone and probally the story and gameplay. Warhawk was pretty good its like emm WarRock Online. Resistance kicked ass which will make Resistance 2 kick all the asses Resistance kicked multiplied by 2 Very Happy

. Ratchet and Clank for PS3 was like its predescors. Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm is a game I played cuz I liked the 3rd one on PS2. MGS4 obviously cuz MG and MGS games always kick ass. Infamous looks like a new GTA but in cooler and darker perspective. I liked Heavenly Sword cuz of gameplay and because your playing as a hot red head chick. Gran Turismo 5 Prolouge and the new Gran Turismo 5 are awesome and look awesome , and it never felt more realistic. God of War 3 personally cuz I always likes GoW games but I never finished any of them. Folklore looks like a nice RPG. FFXIII looks awesome and probally is an awesome RPG aswell. Afrika looks like an awesome Africa simulator no matter what.

Try Uncharted, very, very good game.

Also, be on the lookout for Valkyria Chronicles.

I actually like the 360 better than the PS3 which suprised me because I loved the PS2 but wasn't a big fan of the XBox. I would still get the PS3, but I'm not about to shell out that kind of loot for it.

I am a more of a fan of the Playstation Network myself. Pixel Junk, and some of the older PSX games, like Wild Arms. Yea It's basically an expensive PS1/2 but all the money I've saved instead of buying the physical copies has made my PS3 more like $199.99. I loves me some PS3.

I love my $400 MGS4 player.

So, I've heard rumors that you can play other games with it, is that true?

lol Xbox sucks alright, I hate great online play*rolls eyes*. PS3 has far to few games, if it had more games it would be a much bigger competitor.

Personally, I think the price is what's killing it. One of the big reasons I may be so impressed with the 360 is because I wasn't a big fan of the XBox, so when the 360 came out, it far exceeded my expectations. One of the main reasons I bought a 360 to begin with was for Oblivion. That has now been released for the PS3. They also have GTA IV and LSW: TCS. In fact, since I haven't even got Halo yet, the only game I have really played a lot that wasn't released on the PS3 was Saint's Row. Since I've already played through that and the sequel is going to be on the PS3 as well, I may not have a problem with the game selection.

When I think long and hard about it, I think the price leaves a sour taste in my mouth. That along with the 360 exceeding my expectations may skew my point of view more than the actual quality of the systems themselves.

I do have to admit that I am not familier with the way PS3 plays online. I do really like XBox Live though.

One thing I will praise the PS3 for: Not dicking you on extras.

You want a wireless network adapter for your 360: $99.
You want one for PS3: Already built in.

You want a bigger hard drive for your 360: 120Gb - $99
You want one for a PS3: Go buy a PC one for $60 and slap it in.

You want to watch HD movies on your 360: HD-DVD add-on (Was $150 before HD-DVD died.)
You want to watch HD movies on your PS3: BluRay built in.

You want rechargable batteries for your 360 controller: $20
You want them for your PS3: Built in.

Don't get me wrong, I am not a PS3 Fanboi by any means, I love my x360 too. If you start realizing all these facts, then it's no wonder that the PS3 is a bit more expensive then the 360.

I'll give you that. The wireless network adapter is a crock of shit. Fuck Microsoft for that. Also, for a game system/bluray combo, its a pretty sweet deal. So I see what you are saying. But for me personally, I'm fine with my regular DVDs, my available hard drive and using regular batteries. So that doesn't bother me as much as it would some people. As far as the wireless network adapter goes, I'd rather just string my ethernet cords across the living room floor than shell out a hundred bucks for that shit. Fuck Microsoft again.

I think now that blue ray has won the battle ps3's will sell much more if only because I see people buying a game console and hddvd player in one instead of separately

I'm just now reaching the point where I'm starting to buy multi-platform games for the PS3 instead of the 360. It's a shame too, because I think Microsoft clearly had their shit together with the 360's interface and Xbox Live. Sony may never catch up with the online functionality that the 360 has had since launch. But I'm on my second 30 and it's showing signs of impending death. There's just no way I'm going through all that shit trying to get it fixed again and I'm not buying a 3rd system.

Say what you will about the lack of games, functionality, and the high cost of the PS3, but at least the hardware isn't going to break down on you constantly.

Exactly. EXTRAS. Conversely stated, the 360 doesn't force you to buy shit you're not interested in.

No, but they charge way too much for them.

When they only had the 20Gb Hard Drives, they were selling them for $100, while the rest of the PC world was charging $50 for the EXACT same drive.

You can buy a USB wireless network adapter for $30, Microsoft says you have to pay $100.

$50 for a 360 Wireless controller + $20 for a play and chage kit = $70
$50 for a PS2 wireless controller that cames with a built in rechargable battery.

When it comes to thier consoles, Microsoft thinks they are Apple.

Just because XBOX 360 has more games , I just happened to own all the Playstation consoles making me and instant rooter for Playstation. I do say though that Wii kicks ass.
