Since thinking of 20 characters makes my brain hurt i will name 2
1. Ryu
2. Captain America
sure others have more depth, but these guys guarantee my victory over anyone in MVC. Very Happy

I must be a dumb dumb.. I cant believe I missed megaman in your top 20 Rolling Eyes

8 - Kahn Wong/Grahf/Wiseman (Xenogears)
7 - Billy and Jimmy Lee (Double Dragon)
6 - Magus (Chrono Trigger)
5 - Ranger (Quake)
4 - Crazed guy from Postal
3 - Samus Aran (Metroid)
2 - Shadow (Final Fantasy VI)
1 - Pac-Man (Gotta know why)

I don't feel like making a complete list, but if I did, Kratos from GoW and Dante from DMC would definitely be on it, along with various others already mentioned.
