Whats your favorite video console , If you have ties or seconds , OR possibly thirds or beyonds post them here. If you want to put your favorite Video Game Consoles by like Handheld and Regular do it.
Microvision - Handheld

Mine was the NES for the longest time, but I'm really loving the Genesis right now.

Also SNES, without a doubt. Tons of great RPG's, side-scrollers, well just great everything. I'm also a sucker for 16-bit graphics.
Microvision? As in Milton Bradley? Intellivision?
What the fuck are you smokin'?

Honestly, I think the SNES and Sega Genesis have been, currently are and always will be my two favorite consoles. They've had a lot of good games and their controllers were have both a retro and cutting edge feel to me.
As much as I love the Wii Virtual Console (and I love it a lot), it can't completely reproduce the experience of playing on an SNES or Sega Genesis.

If we only count consoles that I've actually owned (and not counting my FC Twin as either an NES or SNES), I'd pick the Playstation 2 for the console and the PSP for handheld (but only due to the homebrew).

I would have to say PSP for a handheld, for the homebrew and some of the games, even though the DS is horning in on it now that I got guitar hero on tour.
For a console.... Too many to choose from I love them all!

Chrono Trigger alone makes it the SNES for me. I loved my game boy pocket (limited ice blue) as well, so many classics.

SNES kicked ass it had all the good games, and therefore, never got boring.
I'll say GBA (SP) for handheld a lot of good games came out for GBA especially Golden Sun: The Lost Age

I'm so bananas I'm showing up to your open casket,
to fill it up with explosive gases,
and close it back,
with a lit match in it,
while I sit back, and just hope it catches.
Blow you to fragments,
laugh,
roll you, and smoke the ashes.

(S)NES- no explanation needed
Dreamcast- the best sega console imo, underrated system with lots of great games, no modding necessary to play backups!
Xbox- Xbox media center brought a lot of functionality beyond just playing games (like playing .avi and .mp3 files via network), could emulate all the old school consoles perfectly, 2nd easiest console to mod.

well I was considering dreamcast as the easiest since their was no modding involved. It was essentially "modded" out of the box unless you bought one of the later models...

So, that's really not modding, is it?
On models 1001 through 7501 of the original playstation, you could mod it to play backup by buying a "Game Enhancer" and inserting a spring into the tab that the playstation that the door is open. Which I considered the easiest mod ever.

I suppose you are technically correct in that regard. I still thought it was cool that it didn't require any work at all.
