I tried to hunt down all of the songs from the movie. But for some reason, everytime somebody posts a link on IMDB, it gets removed. Also, it always gets removed from file sharing sites. A soundtrack was never released, and they don't want anyone to get the songs by any other means. Fuck whoever is responsible for this. I had it on my old comp before it got zapped. I'll get it again.

FUCK unreleased songs. Piracy FTW!

"Send me an Angel" is also one of my all time favorite songs.

Oh, wait, we were talking about something?

Is DD even really a "Nintendo-based" movie? Sure, it APPEARED on NES/SNES/GB, but wasn't it an arcade game, first and foremost?

I wouldn't count it, as DD was made by Technos (The same guys that made River City Ransom.) It was an arcade game 1st, and then it was pushed out on every console system. Same for Street Figther and Mortal Kombat. I think "The Wizard" and "Super Mario Bros." were the only two movies ever made based solely on Nintendo properties.

I wanted to mention Little Nemo (animated movie), turns out it was just a license CAPCOM made an NES game out of it.

I thought so, because I noticed that there was a game for nes with the same name.

Atleast the game follows the movie, kinda.
You know what movie I'm surprised that didn't get a game inspired by it...The Never Ending Story. That could of been a fun game for Nintnedo.
